This works great for Absent minded and side trackable people
This was a Floor saver. I have these in my 55 gallon Water tank in my DIY Truck Build mini Home . And it takes awhile for me to fill the tank . And I have got distracted twice and flooded the floor of my truck. Good thing I have a floor vent not far away. But i fill my tank too ways one is by outside hose the other is water catch on the roof and gravity. Well this little gadget has saved me 3 times already once while i was sleeping and it was pouring out. i forgot to divert my rain water. And it went off at 3am , it was loud ,woke me with enough to fix things

Do not use these anywhere you need something to work reliably.
I got these because they were cheap and shipped quickly. Tested them with a multimeter, seemed to work. I set them up in a large humidifier I have on top of a bookshelf, and in a 5 gal distilled water container below. When the humidifier was low, it would turn on a small pump, from the container, filling the humidifier. I had a second sensor in the 5 gal container upside down, so that it would not start if the container was low (and burn out the pump). Worked perfectly.... for the first few cycles. Then I left to the gym, only to come home to all 5 gallons having been pumped to the top of my bookshelf, running down and soaking all of my books, as well as making a puddle that ran wall to wall in the dining room.Can you judge me for trusting a part after a few successful cycles? Sure you can. Do these work as expected? No. Should they be trusted for anything meaningful? No. Just glue a magnet to a piece of foam and mount a hall effect sensor - would work much better than these.

Cheaply made but work well
I picked these up for a project at work to control ATO valve for water baths. I have a pair (1x NC, 1x NO) in series controlling the relay for the top off system. When it gets too low, it comes on. When it gets too high, ie- higher than my plumbed overflow? It cuts power to the NC solenoid.Thin thin THIN wires, but they do work wonderful. Switching from NO to NC (and vice versa) takes seconds. Great value

sticky and unreliable
1 of the 2 units received is pretty much unusable because it keeps sticking closed (pump keeps running after basin is empty and float has fallen); analogous issue in reverse configuration (always sticks closed);i guess i should have performed more tests before wasting non-reusable hardware wiring it up;

Perfect for my little solar water pump project
I used this switch to make a little solar water leveling pump that pumps water up from our pool into the spa to keep up the level using a solar fountain pump. Worked great. I didn't need any additional circuitry (relay) as the switch is more than capable of handling the little current for this pump. I have since gone up to a bigger 5W solar panel and it's working great. One less chore for me makes me super happy!

Works as expected but important info is missing.
This Float Switch works well however, noone is here has mentioned that if floaty (Polypropylene) is flipped over, it will change the contact needed depending on application required. I had to read this on other websites to figure this one out. Almost retuned the product.

Garbage
These things are absolute garbage! if you plan on using them for anything that you really need to depend on please do not buy them! I have purchased several throughout the years only to be let down by then not working when they need to sound off high fluid alert .

Internal switch sticks
I'm using this to control the water level in a vibratory tumbler bowl. The switch is installed in a separate reservoir that feeds the tumbler to wash debris as it works. It's only been used 3 times and the third time the float started sticking and the pump did not cut off. Once you tap it or vibrate the float switch it will then disengage. I'm installing another one to see if maybe it last. I have it set to closed circuit at the bottom and open at the top. You have to flip the float to change the operation of the switch.
