This is super heavy duty. We bought it to prevent my father from dementia from leaving the house Probably much more suited for outdoor use. can be kind of awkward with locking but def does the job.

I bought this for my house to prevent my dad with dementia from leaving house and this works perfectly. This just fits on door knob,it seems loose but once you lock it with key then no one can open door turning that knob.Its very affordable option.I will order one more to put on my garage door too for safety reason.I really feel peace of mind now knowing dad can't figure this out.I would recommend family and care takers who has dementia patents at home.

I bought this lock before, first go around it was perfect, then it broke and I got it again. My brother asked me to send him the link to this lock because he needed one as well so I sent it to him and he bought it. Come to find out, his key can unlock my lockout device and, vise versa. I absolutely hate how they don’t even consider making different keys and locks for each lock because now he has access to my things and vise versa. If there is some way I can return this lock and look at different options I would love to have a chance to possibly view other options because having access to my things can NOT happen
