Women's Tirra Leather Sandal

I love these to walk on the beach, as they give me support on the sand and can get wet. The straps adjust with velcro, which is helpful because I have a narrow foot, but my girlfriend has them and she has wide foot. The footbed is awesomely soft and comfy but still provides all the support i need for hiking miles. Teva figured it out with this one. Also like the neutral khaki color.

I have a pair of TEVA's which I dearly love and which I had purchased retail years ago---they are supremely comfortable as well as attractive. However, this shoe has narrower straps across the metatarsis (top of foot) than pictured, and I find that the underside of these three straps chafe my feet painfully. Also, the tip of one of the straps arrived separated from its adhesive lining, making it somewhat unsightly. This sandal definitelly is not typical of what I expect of TEVA in terms of quality.

The Teva Tirra black leather sandals were a last minute purchase to wear on summer vacation during activities that included extensive walking and standing around outdoors, for which flip-flops/thongs would not provide enough cushioning or support, and having the shoe securely fastened on would be preferable. Additionally, I wanted something a bit cuter, or at least a lot less manly looking, than typical sport sandals. Having thinner straps across the toes achieves that adequately. First, the only drawback I experienced was that the ankle strap seems to be designed to fall lower on the back of the heel than is comfortable for my feet, and there was a little chafing on one side. However, after the first couple of days, without loosening the front closure, the strap adjusted to a comfortable fit in the back and it was no longer an issue. Otherwise, during a week of constant wear on all types of terrain, the Tirra sandals delivered everything that I expect from Teva footwear: comfort, durability, support, quality construction, and attractive appearance, and I definitely recommend purchasing them.

If you have a high instep the strap may cause pressure on your ankle. The size was good.

I bought a pair of these early spring last year and they immediately became my "go to" shoes. Living in Houston they were worn non-stop. I have somewhat narrow feet and am able to pull the straps tight enough to achieve a wonderful fit unlike most other sandals. The look is great for wearing with capris and casual skirts. I recently purchased another pair and they too are wonderful, right out of the box. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!

Replaced TEVA We loved for years with new TEVA. WE love the look of the sandal, the prompt shipment as well. Overall the product is made well but the Velcro sawed onto the small leather straps went loose right at the end of the strip when pulling to open the shoe. I had to take a needle and saw the Velcro back so the damage will not get bigger, Also we feel the sandal is to small for 8M - means those wraps cover the Velcro only by about 50% - our older sandal was better. My wife is disabled and needed another comfortable shoe to move around the house which can be openend and closed only by Velcro, so We did not care to return them even if it looks a little bit odd. My daughter and I both cannot wear these sandals! I'm surprised after reading so many good reveiws. The main issue is the ankle straps really cut into the skin and I cannot wear them at all. Will probably try them with socks and a bandaid to protect that area. First time I ever bought footwear on the internet and the last time. Unfortunately I bought them early in the season when it was too cold to wear them, so by the time I found out the problem it was too late to return them.

I purchased my first pair of Teva sandals in a shoe store downtown. I wear ankle foot orthotics, I thought i would always have to wear tennis shoes as i have for the last 8 years. When i found my AFO's fit into the Teva's, i was ecstatic. I bought that pair, plus came home and ordered two more pair off Amazon in other colors. Amazons prices were less also!! So.... needless to say, i am one happy sandal wearer, especially these, as they have good heel cushion and support. The velcro makes them easy to put on over the AFO's, They are so comfortable, I love them! The color selection is amazing, plus they have some colors in leather too! I highly recommend them.

While the sole of the shoes are really comfortable, the velcro that straps on the shoe in front is made of poor quality - the stitching and part of the velcro came off after 3 days of use, without any exposure to rain or bad weather. Disappointing for the price.

These are great for hiking or if you will be walking all day. They are a bit on the heavy size but that’s because of the rugged sole.

Ich habe sehr große Füße: breit, lang und hoch. Zusätzlich Probleme mit dem Ballen. Dieser Schuh passt perfekt, sitzt super. Drückt nicht, zwackt nicht und lässt sich super anpassen. Die Innensohle fühlt sich sehr komfortabel nach Textil an. Und das beste: am Fuß sieht der Schuh für eine Trekkingsandale sehr feminin und überhaupt nicht klobig aus. Ich gebe nicht nur fünf, sondern 10 Sterne ;-) Der perfekte Schuh für Problem-Füße!

Leider ist der an sich relativ gut verarbeitete Schuh falsch geschnitten, selbst bei etwas breiteren Füßen. Wie schon andere Kommentatoren bemängelten, rutscht der Fuß nach vorne raus, während das Knöchelriemchen einschnürt. Der Schuh ging zurück.

Very pleased with fit and comfort of these sandals and particularly with the two adjustable toe straps, and the ankle strap.
