I got this for my husband in April ‘21 as a starter Dremel-type tool. We finally had the chance to use last night and he loved it! That is, until it stopped working half way into our project. It just straight up died. All the little bits it comes with are so confusing and there is zero information that comes with the tool explaining what things are or how to even get started using it. We had to figure it out on our own. One we did that things were ok until, like I mentioned before, it crapped out. Keep in mind that with this item you absolutely get what you pay for. This is not a long-lasting tool and we are definitely going to be investing in an actual Dremel brand tool.

Originally I just wanted a plain old Dremel just use on my Doberman's toe nails. With this Dremel I went for more. It does many things, but I especially like the engraver, and the ability to sharpen knifes.

Awesome tool. I really enjoy using the flex shaft. Works well with glass. Had 1 issue with broken or missing part on the first flex shaft and it was replaced twice with another broken one.... so disappointing... the tool it self is awesome it's the flex shaft that is coming up with issues.... also product support is a joke. Every one on the calls knew nothing about the product period....

I've used about 15 times now and it works well. Attachments are easy to take on and off, it's fairly quiet, and most importantly, it's perfectly balanced. Should last me quite awhile. There are like 100 of these to choose from, I chose this one mainly because it was a bit more powerful than the cheaper 1 amp tools, and the fact that it came with the accessories I needed.

I consider myself to have moderate capability in figuring things out, especially with the help of the internet. However, this tool has proven me wrong. Or it's the tool. It seems straightforward and I thought when I used it a 2nd time it would be better. I was almost as frustrated as 1st time except my expectations were lower. I have never used a rotary tool and thought the attachments would be great for current and future projects. All that to say, once i decided which attachment I should try for my purposes, I had a challenge attaching it. And it flew off. On 2nd use at least I saw it loosening before it flew across the room. And I determined it may be a certain attachment that just wouldn't attach both times. Yes, I own a drill/driver and the Teppco attachments seem to go on the same way as drill bits. But, at least one did not. The thought of trial and error with all these other tiny parts exasperated me. But I waited to long to use and have missed my return window. Oh, one of the sanding papers unraveled from it's spindle. Another attachment the screw came unscrewed from the but itself during the process of rotating. It's supposed to rotate! At high speed! I'm talking level 1 power, maybe 15 seconds at a time. In summary, it has taken more effort than I think it's worth. But I did drill & sand with frustration.

There are many rotary tools on the market and most are good. Any operation on a mini scale can be done with these; cutting,drilling,sanding. I chose this one because it has more power than others without being too heavy and comes with a flex shaft. It looks solidly built and everything works. I only wish it came with an adjustable chuck. They are available separately but not sure which shaft diameter/threading will fit. Always wear safety glasses when using tools!

Love this tool because it has so many applications! It lasted for about 3.5 years. Somehow the spped dial came loose so it works, but won't hold a constant speed. For $27 I got a LOT of use out of it! Just gonna buy another one.
