Good enough. Bought at the end of the winter season - tested it for a bit, and packed it up so I can use it next winter when the golf cart sits for months at a time.

Am using it right now.
It is on my golf cart in Florida, so I won't know until fall if it did what it was supposed to do. Have heard many good things about this battery maintainer.

Charger/Desulfater
I have only used it for 6 days, and seems to be working. It takes about 3 weeks for the desulfater to clean the batteries. The product has a 1 year take it back policy and a 5 year warranty which is great.

Water levels staying up better than ever
Use it on my golf cart. Water levels staying up better than ever. Replace 6 batteries in your cart and see if it's worth not buying this.

Get anther year or so out of your batteries, perhaps?
This "Battery Minder", used on my 36 Volt golf cart batteries, left on 'float', did bring up the open cell voltage, and seems to be helping on the ultra low hydrometer readings. My voltage readings were always OK- quasi satisfactory. (38.5 Volts) This was the voltage at which my OEM EzGo charger went into 'float'.This device, after being on 'float' for a couple of weeks brought the voltage up to 40+ vollts and seems to be slowly improving the hydrometer readings. The batteries are only two years old, but had been left in a discharged state previously. The performance of the batteries was always better than the hydrometer readings disclosed, which I found strange..This also (after being on float) balanced all the batteries within .1 to .2 volts of each other. I can only say it seems to be a battery saver. I'm quite satisfied with its performance. My photo shows the maximum voltage after a 'reset'. It then drops to around 40.1 volts on float. I think this slight overvoltage upon start is what is lessening the sulphation and aiding in cell balance..Update4-13-15: A MIRACLE! The specific gravity reading on all batteries is now 'full charge'. This thing evidently DID eleminate all or most sulfation over a couple of weeks. Left on, the batteries do not lose electrolite. In fact, it came up a bit, I assume as the acid was driven out of the plates..Update5-10-15: I am no longer using the factory charger. This device brings the batteries up overnight, then settles in with a higher 'float' voltage. Batteries are using no water.
