I had to buy this book as it was required reading for a Marriage and Intimacy class i was taking. A whole bunch of rambling in this book. Sum the book up in a nut shell, after the industrial revolution Women wanted to take care of their own lives. Save the $15-20

Incredibly well written and informative book. I am looking forward to more publishings from this author.

A smart, well written and engaging history of youth and sexuality before the 1960s! This book is great for general audiences and is useful for those of us teaching history of sexuality, lgbtq history and youth history classes!
