When you need something more than a felt brush, but gentle enough, this 800-grit one is a good choice to clean tarnish; use the felt one to buff and polish afterwards.

Removes rust without scratching high carbon steel knife blades. I used these on several knives at about 60% max rpms with very little pressure and the knife blades were not harmed. when used on bolsters I had to follow with a wool wheel but it was maybe overkill on my part and it was just a quick buff.

Deburred and polished a kydex holster. Used only one wheel (about 20 minutes) didnt fall apart. Worked great.!
