Invisible Glass Reach & Clean Wet-Dry Pro Tool

Having recently purchased a new RAV4 I was shocked at the inaccessibility of the sharply angled windshield. With a car full of cigarette smokers, the interior windshield requires cleaning twice monthly to ensure safe, glare-free nighttime driving. After considering other similar kits, we purchased this one and are very satisfied. Even as a shorter female, I’m able to reach the entire windshield from the drivers seat with the extension attached. The handle, incl. extension, is sturdy. The foam grip is a useful bonus for arthritic hands. The included funny yellow cloths worked well, but I found pushing paper towels around with the spongy head works equally well. Save yourself the pain of strained shoulders & a twisted neck. Grab this kit— it makes life with a severely angled windshield much easier. Having an SUV, this tool perfectly suited my needs. It made reaching the middle of the windshield a snap and excelled in cleaning all the interior glass. Notably, the small windows in the back of an SUV can be challenging to reach, but with this wand and the Invisible Glass cleaner, it proved an excellent solution. My car windows have never looked better!

The tool itself is good quality, sturdy and well made, but it’s a lot to store, and assembly takes a minute. The cloths that attach are not the best quality glass towels, just a loose waffle-weave microfiber that stays put on the foam backing, but there’s no Velcro or elastic holding it on. Unless you cannot reach all areas of your windshield, you really don’t need this tool- you’ll have better, faster & easier results simply using a glass towel and cleaner. In order to get streak free results with this tool, you need to follow up with a glass towel and buff it anyway, as the towels it comes with are not absorbent at all.

I park in an apartment building garage that never allows enough light to see properly when cleaning the windows. I have been living with streaks and a/c fogging for months, and I apparently lack the patience and skills to contort myself and clean the inside of the windshield with glass cleaner and those waffled microfiber towels. This tool actually works, and it worked the first time, despite me rushing the job a bit. I was shocked to see, when I got into the sun after leaving the garage, that there wasn't a streak or spot, and all that long-standing fogging near the a/c-defrosting vents was gone. One tip: watch the video with the inventor who emphasizes keep the tool at a 30 degree angle or less. That tight angle makes the job much, much easier.

Snapping the cleaning heads onto the shaft takes a fair amount of force. And it takes a fair amount of force to remove the heads if you want to swap them out. When removing them I was kind of worried that the amount of force (with the plastic bending while you're doing it) could cause the head to break. Next time, I'm going to try running the whole business under hot water to see if I can soften it up a bit. They might want to re-think this part of the design. Otherwise it works fine. Having the sponge material on the heads (it tends to stick a bit to the microfiber cloth) is useful. The supplied cloths are thin and they pick up dirt pretty quickly. If the outside of your windows are a bit grimy, consider giving them a once-over with a hose to get rid of the grime first. Otherwise the microfiber cloth is going to get dirty right away and will have to be replaced at once. This is especially true for the larger cloths, as you get only two of them in the package.

Excellent product to clean your front and and windows that can be challenging at times. Very economical and easy to clean the pads that come with it. Makes window cleaning a whole lot easier

This does what I need. Reaching the bottom of the windshield where it meets the dash inside the car has always been tough to clean. This product solves that problem very well. The bonnets that come with it are a bit cheesy and done fit the plastic heads very well but they do work and don’t come off while cleaning. Good value for the money. I would recommend.
