Holds heavyweight in vertical position!
These locks work perfect. I use them to lock 125 lb on an Olympic dumbbell. They do not slide or fall off. That would be pretty dangerous overhead!

Best bang for buck
These are light, and small. While they are not the bulkiest they are superb quality. I use these over my calibrated elekio collars. I have used these for deadlifts of over 800lbs and they hold it well. They also work great on multiple different bars I.e. SS Yoke, Titan logs, axle, power bar, and Calibrated competition bars. These can be hard to tighten but just tap it with a 2.5. This isn’t a paid review, these are just that good. 10/10 recommend these.

GREAT BARBELL COLLARS
Just got it and installed them on my barbell. Solid as a rock. It' has a nice chrome finish, well built and works like a charm. You can't go wrong buying these collars.Just received a second pair for an axle weightlifting bar, I just purchased. It's functions perfectly and they slightly improved on, from the original pair I bought. They extended the length of the part (T-SCREW) that is used to tighten the collar. Solid and secure. Very happy!

simple and safe.
Small enough to fit more plates. Simple enough to still be cheap and safe.

Best option, but...
First of all, these are better than anything else I've tried for keeping the weights tight on the dumbbell. Especially when lifting heavy and doing something like bench or fly where you will be setting them down hard if you go to failure. The collar is a great design. My issue though is with the screws with little lever rods that they include. The design is toolless which is meant to be convenient and I get that. However, you need to be able to tighten the screw to the point where the lever is flat against the weights. Otherwise that lever sticking out can poke you. It usually gets me when I'm setting up to do bench or fly. Tightening the screw until the lever is flat against the weight can not only be very difficult, but it caused the lever to bend on mine. Bended a few times and it will break. So what I did is I went to Home Depot and bought M10-1.5x20mm hex bolts to replace the supplied screws. Now I can just use a wrench to tighten the collars and I don't have to worry about getting poked with those levers. I would still buy these collars again because as I said there isn't anything better that I've found. They absolutely keep the weights tight enough to not get loose when you set the weights down hard if you're lifting heavy, and/or going to failure.

Real Review - Great Value
The collars work as described and are well made.Great price, seem to be great quality. Much better deal than $40 collars for me.I just use these on a curl bar so not sure how they hold up against deadlifts and Olympic lifts. Worth a try at this price. If you’re considering pro locs try these first
