5 STARS- a MUST BUY if you already have the power head
I waited and waited to buy this for over a year, and I finally pulled the trigger. Boy, am I glad that I did! The EGO cultivator attachment is a great tool for anyone who wants an easier way to work up garden beds, flower beds, or small planting areas without dragging out a large tiller. It is especially handy for loosening soil, mixing in compost, and cleaning up areas before planting. I also tried it on just grass next to my already established garden and it absolutely tore it up! I am very impressed with the stability of Ego and all of their tools and attachments. The attachment feels sturdy and well-built, and it does a good job cutting into already workable soil. It is easy to control and much more convenient than a full-size gas cultivator, especially for raised beds, tight spaces, and smaller gardens. I also like that it keeps yard work quieter and cleaner compared to gas-powered equipment. Overall, it is a practical, time-saving, stable attachment and a great addition for anyone already using the EGO system. I truly feel like this is a good value for the money, if you already have the EGO power head. It literally takes 2 minutes tops to switch from a pole saw, to a string trimmer, to this.

Worth the price!
Ok so I was on the fence with this implement since it’s quite pricey I was leaning towards the extension hedge trimmer but after some research i decided this might be better suited for my needs and I gotta say this is one serious piece of equipment. Nasty tangled undergrowth and base layer roots up to a half inch thickness are no match for this beast whacker. I’ve had all manner of brush trimmers over the years and this by far exceeds anything I’ve ever owned. My son has a stone driver mostly smaller pea gravel with additional stones added to try and combat the weed issue and this rotator head doesn’t get messed up by the stones it just blasts through everything digging up the roots and all while at the same time slinging very little debris since it operates at a low rpm. This is not a lightweight implement I’m strong and with a larger battery say 7.5ah the entire unit weighs quite a bit more than a typical weedwacker so consider that. It excels in that it shaves right down to the soil level or it can cut just like a standard unit although it’s a bit slower I like using this for clearing weeds that have popped up in mulch and working around my garden to eliminate weeds it also doesn’t aggressively longer towards things it’s less likely to damage plants and the like. I’ll be using this tool quite a bit . The blades benefit from a sharpening occasionally I used a dremel with a diamond abrasive drum on it the blades are not exactly sharp from the factory Jussayin.

Great product!
I bought this to use on artificial grass to try and clean the dirt, crumbled leaves, and moss from the nap of the grass carpet. WOW! This thing is awesome! Using it per instructions was a bit tough for me as I had to push down sort of hard to keep the brush from “walking” forwards and away from me. NOTE: try using this upside down! Just attach it to your Ego head, flip it over, then turn on and pull it towards you. MUCH easier to control and did a fantastic job scrubbing the artificial grass. I could not believe the tons of debris, dirt, moss, etc. that it scrubbed out. I did not wet the turf or apply any water or chemicals - best if done on a dry surface I found. WARNING: if you use as I have suggested, better wear long pants, old shoes, and safety glasses. It will cover you with the debris, but you will be amazed at how it looks when done, like new! I tried this on some dirt and loose gravel on my driveway and same fantastic result. I also tried it with some mildew cleaner on my driveway, but wasn’t satisfied with the result, that needed a heavier machine to get down into the concrete surface and scrub that stuff out. This is a great attachment to have if you need to scrub moss, dirt, rocks and such on some basis. As an aside, I tried it on snow on my driveway, pointed in the right direction this time, and it will push some snow (not ice) with no problem! Great addition to my Ego product set. Love all their stuff (except maybe the weed trimmer, never have luck with those). The hedge trimmer, tree trimmer, chain saw attachment (for limb ups and dropping small diameter trees) and the blower are all top performers in my experience.

A game-changer for hundreds of feet of garden beds.
As someone with an extensive landscape layout and hundreds of feet of garden beds to maintain, keeping clean edges has always been a brutal, multi-day chore when done manually. I already own several EGO tools and use their multi-head system, so I was highly eager to see if this Bed Redefiner attachment could actually handle the sheer volume of edging on our property. It completely exceeded my expectations. The build quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from the EGO lineup—robust, well-balanced, and powerful. Battery life is excellent, easily giving me plenty of runtime to manage long stretches of property without constant swapping. The absolute key to loving this tool is understanding exactly what it is designed to do: it is a redefiner, not a primary trench digger. What it isn't for: Breaking entirely new, hard-packed turf to establish a brand-new garden bed from scratch. What it excels at: Rolling through established, existing beds to clean out overgrown grass, clear out debris, and leave a crisp, professional, sharp vertical edge. In terms of handling, EGO struck a great balance here. It has enough substantial weight to it that it doesn't bounce around or skip over rough patches, yet it remains incredibly easy to use and guide. It features very helpful visual edge indicators on the tool itself, which make it a breeze to line up and track your border accurately. Because it glides so easily along the boundary line with minimal physical exertion, it has completely changed my maintenance habits. Instead of putting off a dreaded manual chore until the edges look terrible, the low barrier to entry means I can easily do regular touch-ups to keep the yard looking pristine year-round. If you are already invested in the EGO platform and have a lot of property to manage, this is an indispensable addition to the tool shed. It turns a back-breaking task into a quick, satisfying project. Highly recommended.

Cultivator and Brush Cutter Reviews
Cultivator and Brush Cutter Reviews. Cultivator: I had been eyeing the cultivator attachment for a long time but the price kept me putting it off. Finally bought it to use when putting in a new garden patch. Wow! I was skeptical it would not have enough power or wouldn't last long on the battery. I was wrong. It is a little heavy and you have to pull it towards you (opposite direction of where it wants to go) when cultivating for it to dig in, so expect a little work-out even in soft soils. My yard varies from a mix of light clay and soft topsoil and it was easily tilling down 2 to 3" deep on one pass. On the soft soil it goes deep and makes nice berms on either side. The battery lasts a long time, longer than when I am running the weed-eater attachment, which shocked me. It will kick back on tree roots and rocks larger than a small egg. This is a must have if you have a garden or beds. Saved a ton of time and energy I would have spent with a hoe, pick and shovel. Brush Cutter 12": You will need to add a new quick release and kick-back bar to your Powerhead (the parts are included with the brush cutter attachment) and install the blade onto its attachment. Took me awhile to get all this put together, but once you do, you can still use your powerhead with other attachments with these add-ons, no problem. I bought the brush cutter hoping to use it instead of the string trimmer head since I run through string so fast with weeds. This can be used like a string trimmer with some exceptions, you obviously can't use it around rocks, concrete, etc or the blade will hit it, spark and stop the attachment from spinning. It is very effective on taking out a certain weed I have that has a dense low to the ground base where the string trimmer only chops off the top material and the base just regenerates it. This blade will catch the bottom of these weeds and completely decapitate the base and fling it, taking everything down to bare dirt. I will probably wear the blades down pretty quick and beat them up, but it works well for this especially if you use it in the regular power mode, not the higher power.

Effortless Cutting, Just Watch the Chain Setup
I’ve been using the EGO+ PowerHead Carbon Pole Saw attachment for several months now, and it has been a game-changer for my yard maintenance. I primarily use it to trim my Queen and Canary palms, and it cuts through the fronds like butter. It has significantly reduced the physical strain compared to my old manual pole saw. Pro Tips for Use: Battery Choice: While it's compatible with the entire EGO ecosystem, I highly recommend using a 2.5Ah battery. It provides plenty of power for a pruning session while keeping the tool balanced and the weight manageable. Chain Installation: The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the initial setup. It took me a few tries to get the chain installed and tensioned correctly. I found that even when it felt "tightened," the chain could still be loose if not aligned perfectly on the bar. Precision is key during assembly! Overall, once it’s dialed in, it’s a powerhouse tool that I highly recommend for anyone with palms.

Worth it
Bought this along with the power unit it attaches to. I have a lot of EGO stuff and and even though it is pricy I find value in it as the performance is excellent and no maintenance and push a button to get going is worth it. I've used this tool once for an entire day so far and it has met my expectatons.

Makes easy work of packed dirt and small weed!.
This cultivator is an amazing tool if you have some dirt you want to turn over and already have an Ego power head. It’s only 9” wide but it makes quick work of packed, dry dirt and even small weeds. I used it to remove weeds that were about 12-14” high. It does take some down force on the head to get to roots but I did an entire 40’ x10’ section in about two hours. It does most of its damage when pulling the tool towards you. It does get heavy but if you have the shoulder strap it makes it easier. Also I have the carbon fiber head and this aluminum attachment works fine with no issues.

Great. Adapted for Greenworks PRO.
Great product. Works better than expected. I see why people say it's heavy and a lot of work to use, but it's manageable and worth it. So much faster and more effective than raking. Not only gets the rocks from gravel driveway but all small debris from trees and sticks that is hard to rake. I actually use it with an 80V greenworks pro attachment capable trimmer. I didn't want to switch because I have about 6 or 7 tools that use the same 80v batteries. First I removed the nylon bushing in the steel tubing. Than the small round bar drive shaft going down to the gear box pulled right out. In a vise I used a grinder and file to change the slightly larger spline tip to a square (keystock looking) tip. I had to cut it down a bit as well with a zip disc. Luckily everything was larger and I just slowly took off material to fit the male tip into the female adapter on the greenworks. Took less than an hour to do the work and put everything together. Now I would probably work with other brands as well.
