For the diy'er
Just received this tool and used it on a number of vehicles. Work in a professional environment and this not the tool to use. If you are a diy'er it will give you a direction that you are looking for! Yes, you can buy this for 7 dollars. And people will use it thinking they have a bad battery or alternator. Im not convinced this has the true capability of that for one. And secondly, all those parts stores can do a battery and alternator analysis that shows numbers and results and can print them out. So said customer can see the results. Even if they fully dont know what they see they can realize what the potential issue is, and/or take a printed copy to their local shop and have them look at it. Great tool for a direction to look and quick and easy!

Easy to use for a quick reference
Based on the price for this unit it’s fantastic. There are more expensive units they give more details analysis. So based on your needs if you just need a quick reference check with your battery is good or there is another problem this is the unit to buy

this one I can't be positive. The system is simple, but I am not sure that is a down fall. The unit tells me that the alternator is not working, but other tests tell me different stories. You pay for what you get...yes the old mantra plays true here.

Very handy!
I use battery testing equipment daily at my automotive repair shop and I gotta say this small battery tester surprised me in a good way! I tested it along side of our daily battery equipment to compare readings and as you can see in the pictures the EDIAG battery tester was accurate. This is an incredibly handy tool to keep at home and in your vehicle to be able to test a battery conveniently in a pinch! In my opinion, the value for money is excellent.

Works fantastic just what I needed and small enough to fit in my glove box
I JUST USED IT SATURDAY MORNING A FRIEND CALLED AND ASKED ME TO GO AND GIVE HIM A JUMP SO WENT WITH CABLES HAD MY TESTER IN THE GLOVE BOX AND WAS ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM

Great for the money
For six bucks ya can’t ask for more! I’m a diesel mechanic and have used it several times and it has accurately diaged bad alternators and batteries. And ya can’t beat the price even if it was only accurate 50% of the time!

The description says digital. There is no digital display at all. You don't know what the actual voltage is.
