07/09/2024- It is heavy at about 20 lbs but the battery lasts 8 hours easily. I assume the internal batteries are responsible for the weight but this is as expected. It is a very nice portable TV and when combined with a fire stick is great for using on the terrace. The sound volume is somewhat limited as others have said but not an issue for me. The screen image is bright and clear. Mine has a defect in the image - fixed horizontal line across the lower quarter of the screen and ghosting of the upper screen image on the lower screen. I'm in contact with service and so far they have been very responsive (Tess) and I will update this review depending on how they help me. Likely a defective unit that I bought in March, 4 months ago - will see if they replace it and update you on progress.07/23/2024 Update - The company rep couldn't have been nicer and they are shipping my Monster TV back for servicing or replacement. They paid the shipping cost too. This company really stands behind this product - which is a great product in my opinion - and I will post a further update when my issue is settled.08/15/2024 Update - The Monster company shipped me a new replacement unit. It works just as it should. What a great company that really stands behind their products. And it's really a great product. Mated to a fire stick this gives a great picture and I can watch TV including live TV outside on the terrace. The battery lasts 8-12 hours of normal use. I love it and have recommended it to several friends who have all ordered one. Buy one and you won't regret it. My highest recommendation and thank you to a great customer oriented company.

First,check out the YouTube reviews. This is all they say it is! There's a park here with a nice lake and water park. I love going there on weekends. I have a Firestick I use with it. Tieing to myphone data,works like a Swiss watch!Using the antenna hung from the tree I set under,I get 17-24 stations. (I live in southern NM,so signals are hard to get off air).I love this thing! Even tho it is abit heavy,(uses an internal 12v.lead acid battery). I put it in the trailer of my bike to to to the park.

This is a fantastic entertainment center.It's not just a TV. If you purchase a Roku 4K stick, plug in to the HDMI and the USB port in the hidden enclosure. The Roku will NOT list the TV to program the remote but it WILL control the TV. Turn on CEC in the Monstervision setup and then program the Roku remote to program the TV. Choose CEC and if it asks then choose Monivision as the TV brand. Once programed you can control volume, mute and turn the TV off to standby. To turn the TV back on, press the TV's volume switch. You can also protect the screen by purchasing a BoxWave Screen Protector Compatible with Monster Vision Portable Entertainment System - ClearTouch Anti-Glare (2-Pack), Anti-Fingerprint Matte Film Skin. This is an excellent and easy to use product.

Good picture and sound not too loud for playing outdoors and not disturbing neighbors.

Upon taking it out of the box I thought OMG this is ginormous!! Beyond that the picture quality is great. You can watch clearly at any angle within 180degrees. Sound is really acceptable. Instructions say you can use up to a 64gb usb thumb drive for music, pictures and movies, I used a 128gb drive and it accessed files and played movies with no issues. HDMI ports used for Roku worked fine. Connected included antennae and it found about 30 channels. Not all were 100% with intermittent pixelation and choppy sound but the ones that came through were great, about 22% of the 30 channels. Bluetooth connected fine with my phone and played SiriusXM and pandora. I kept using it and battery lasted a bunch of hours, wasn’t really monitoring that, but it was a good part of the afternoon like at least 6 hours. Put it away took it out and it’s still turned onto used it for another hour or two and finally said uh oh! I better charge this and so I did. Steady charge light in 4 hours. So yeah, I like it. It’s large but gets the job done. Yay for me and you if you get it!😉

I strongly advise against purchasing this item. It did not hold a charge right out of the box. I followed all troubleshooting steps and contacted Monster’s customer support, only to be told I’d have to pay for return shipping — even though the device was defective from the start.To make matters worse, they warned that I could be penalized if the item arrived with any damage, yet provided no assistance or prepaid label. I was never able to speak with a real person, and the back-and-forth emails led nowhere. Horrible customer service from start to finish.Save yourself the frustration and your money. I regret this purchase and would not recommend it to anyone. Feels like a scam. Thank goodness for Amazon, which let me return it for free.
