Dalen Deer-X Protective Netting for Gardens & Landscapes - 7 ft x 100 ft

I used this last year and worked very well to keep the garden deer free. Ordered it again for this year and it arrived short (75 ft instead of 100 ft). I called customer service and they were super helpful. Keep in mind that it is A little difficult installing it properly by yourself (as I am) but with 2 people its a breeze . Its not as strong as metal fencing but it does the job very well. Watching deer go near it with my cameras the fence is amazing. The deer hate the feel of it with their noses and stay away. Considering the price its perfect. The following year you just take it down and replace it . This gives you the ability to till your soil easily. If you don't do that the fence will definitely last a few years anyway. Great Product !

This is an excellent product. I installed it on my yews and arborvitae that the deer have chewed on for years. I can see from the deer tracks that they are now leaving these bushes alone. So it works as advertised ! It comes neatly folded and easy to unroll. The netting has a 3/8" spacing and lays out easily to drape over our bushes or arborvitae to keep the deer from eating. I tied it through the netting to the bush behind and it works great. The seven foot height is perfect. It took about 15 minutes to install and with a 100' roll, there's plenty to do other bushes with.

So far it has kept the deer away from my flowers. It’s not horrible, but it’s obvious that there is some type of fence around them. I wish the netting was clear. I ended up buying stakes and using zip ties to create the boundary. It’s best to secure all edges bc it is a fine netting and can easily get tangled with itself or the flowers when the wind blows.

Material is light and easy to use .I got 7 ft heavy duty plastic poles and hang it on to keep the deers out . So far no deer damage found . The nice part is it almost invisible .

This has been very effective in keeping deer from eating our plants! It is easy to use and discreet. It does not affect the view of the flowers and plants. Great product!

It was not what I wanted. I have sone I bought in the past that has larger”holes” and the netting itself is mush heavier. It is easier to work with, doesn’t get hung up on everything. Green netting is what I wanted, black is what I got

Product is made well, and it works!! Keeps all the garden munching animals out!! Five stars!

Has worked out great to keep the deer out. Remember Deer can jump, and 8 foot is about perfect to keep them out. The neighbor used cheaper 4-foot netting, and he has deer eating his crop. I wouldn't say its super strong or thick and its pretty much invisible in the right sunlight, but deer seem to know it's there and haven't attempted to jump it yet. I may run some marking ribbon through the top and hopefully the deer will see its too high for them, but I think they have better vision then we do because they certainly haven't tried to jump it. I will probably take it down during the winter since as stated its not super thick and the snow load will probably destroy it.

We had problem deer in the garden. This netting keeps them from munching on the new shoots and leaves and gives the plant a change to survive the first couple of years. Once mature, the deer will not bother it and will prefer younger, more tended plants. This netting was easy to install and lasts.

Although not thick, the netting was effective in fencing my yard from deer. However, the bottom got chewed (by rats?), so rats and rabbits would get into my yard.

We used the fencing to keep our "obedience school dropout" dog from digging around a certain area (septic tank lid) on the lawn. Problem solved. He seems to have forgotten how much fun it was to dig a foundation sized pit in the back yard. The fencing material is very thin and flexible so use sturdy posts and you too can keep unwanted pests away from unsolicited digs and grass restoration.

It's a very good value for your money, I used it to go around my vegetable garden to keep the deer, racoons, and critters out seems to work well and it is sturdy
