ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Sweet Rose Herbal Tea, Holy Basil Leaf, 3.5 oz Canister

I absolutely love this tea, and am so happy to see they sell it loose since we're trying to get away from microplastics (some of which are found in commercial tea bags). The container it comes in is not tin, so it arrived crushed, but fortunately the inner bag was not punctured. I transferred the tea to a tin I had saved from some other tea in years past, so that wasn't a problem. As for profile, this is a strong rose smell and flavor, which is not easy to find! I drink a cup brewed right before bed with a spot of cream in it, which makes for a soothing and tasty dessert without the sugar!

I bought this for my wife. She LOVES the smell of roses and other flowers, and I love spoiling her. This tea is just magical. It is warm and fragrant and soft and yet complex and full. Tulsi is of course very healing on its own, and others have sufficiently reviewed the benefits of holy basil Tulsi. While I am more of a green tea drinker, I do like this tea a lot. And my wife absolutely loves it. From the moment I opened the package, the aroma was incredibly whimsical, floral, and absolutely scrumptious. The rose scent is wonderfully strong and inviting, and with every cup I brew, the fragrance fills the room. The flavor is just as lovely as the aroma. It’s smooth, naturally sweet with a hint of stevia, and very relaxing. I find it perfect for winding down. I sit back with a cup, breathe in the fragrance, and it instantly calms me. The open-leaf tea was very fresh, and what I like most is that it doesn’t take much to brew a flavorful cup, so it goes farther, a real value! It’s super effective at calming and relaxing. Overall: A delicious, aromatic tea that’s both comforting and calming. I absolutely love it!

My daughter and I prefer loose-leaf tea as most tea bags are not really the quality we want to have steeping in hot water before drinking. This is a great price. This tea is great all day long, but especially in the evening. We used to drink the sleep tea, but this is equally relaxing and with a delicious aroma. Just smelling it from the container makes you smile. I like most Organic India products and it is a reliable brand vetted by Dr. Mercola. I am a bit weirded out by all of these brand names popping up everywhere wanting me to trust their brand.

This tea is great! I expected a Republic of Tea sized canister, but this one is much bigger. As other reviewers have said, I find the aroma of the tea in the canister is very perfume-y (which doesn't bother me because I love all things rose), but once brewed the tea is very well-balanced between the tulsi and the rose flavors. I would also note, by way of brewing advice, that this tea does better in a drop-in infuser mug than with a tea ball-type of infuser. The tea needs some room to breathe. And it expands significantly once wet, so I didn't find that too many particles fell through my ceramic infuser. If you're really finicky about particles in your tea, you're probably going to need a stainless steel mesh infuser, but I think that's true about most teas. I kind of wish they made this tea without the stevia, but for the price and quality, you can't beat this. I'll definitely keep buying it.

This is my favorite tea of all time. Soooo soothing and grounding. A cup in the evening with an occasional splash of milk just makes my evening. My usual stores stopped carrying the boxed/tea bag version for months so here I was thinking that this brand is no longer producing tea. So I was pleasantly surprised to discover that amazon had it, and a loose leaf version to boot!! Win win, as now I can feel better about creating less waste with teabags and boxes.

If you want an exotic tea....this is the one to order! I am no longer a coffee enthusiast....After drinking this tea I am now a tea enthusiast. This tea is awesome! When I drink this tea it reminds me of how my mother would gather her roses from her rose garden and dry them out. She would make tea from her rose petals and rose petal jelly. I am so happy that I found this tea because each time I take a sip of this awesome rose petal tea it brings back a memory seeing my sweet mother going to her rose garden, gather her roses, hang her roses to dry out, making rose tea, and rose jelly. This tea is great unsweetened or sweetened with stevia. It’s very exotic to my tastebuds! I will order more very soon and thank you for this awesome tea. Don’t ever stop making it!

I brought this product because it claimed it is organic Tulsi tea, however I am so disappointed to found out it contains rose favour in its ingredients, very unhappy to drink it from this point
