Coral Reefs (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 2)

My 2 year old LOVES this entire series of Nat. Geo Readers... I have purchased about 25 different titles, "pre-readers" as well as Level 1 & 2 readers. She loves them all & will ask for certain ones. The "pre-readers" level books are extremely simple & great because she memorizes the words & can "read" it herself. We love the more advanced ones too, because there is more information to talk about. I have learned quite a few facts, myself!) What a great series. The price is reasonable & pictures are great. These are really getting her interested in nature, animals & science... I will continue to buy these as they are released, for our collection!

I homeschool my 4 year old, brought book to teach her about coral reefs. Beautiful pictures with nice facts that are straight to the point but not boring. Mostly kept the attention of two 4 year olds

My daughter requested on her Amazon Wish List for her classroom of 2nd graders. She was happy to receive, as well as her students.

I love these books. I'm constantly looking for interesting nonfiction texts for my classroom. These are perfect for my third graders and they can not get enough of them. Kids are constantly coming up to me and telling me new facts that they have learned from the books in this series. Great for science, reading, social studies, history, vocabulary, etc. Highly recommended!

Great book. Using for our oceanography unit. Level two informational, but great for differential purposes. Pictures were vibrant and text is student friendly.

Good quality & very interesting to read for older readers.

The entire National Geographic Readers series is an excellent leaning resource for my 7 years old twins. They love reading them alone. Nice glossary at the end, easy and engaging language, lots of excellent pictures. I am connecting this reading with youtube videos so they get a better sense what the story is about. They love it

Great reading books for kids.

Somehow this book lacks in words and pictures. It didn't have a story at all and also not many pictures per page. My 4 year old loves coral reefs but didn't find this book engaging. I was hoping for full page pictures but it's just small pictures with blurbs of words around it. Overall I don't recommend
