Cat Stax The Purrfect Packing Puzzle Game

Not only is this adorable with the cute little kitties, but it’s educational.Okay, so for a mom who happens to homeschool, this is a plus. When I need to keep one kid occupied while I work with another, this is perfect. While some of the family is occupied with a task and I want to keep my daughter occupied with an activity that I approve of, this is perfect. And it’s so cute, she loves it. All the kids want to get involved! The cards that come with the game range in difficulty, so it’s a great fit for all ages.And I happen to have a little fun with this gme, as well!! Who says a 43 year old can’t have a littl fun with the kids?

This game is a lot of fun and really quite challenging. I was a little concerned that it would be too easy, but it definitely isn't! It isn't so challenging though that it becomes frustrating, it is very fun. I love the little cat pieces, they are cute. The cats, case and cards are of good quality and there are puzzles on both sides of each card. As some other reviewers have mentioned, putting the cat pieces back in the packaging is of itself quite challenging! I took a photo of them before I first took them out to make sure I could put them back easily, but have attempted to put them back without referencing the photo and it was rather tricky :)

bought this for my 7 year old inquisitive cat loving stepson. He seems to really enjoy the beginner puzzles, but some of the more advanced puzzles would definitely vex an adult. I like that it should challenge him far into the future (if he can keep track of all the pieces!!)one thing that is really annoying though, is that the challenges are on one card, and the answers are on another, and there are a LOT of cards to keep track of/organized. I can see them becoming lost & mismatched in the future. It would have been better to lay them out so you flip the challenge card over to see the solution rather than have two separate cards to have to sift through & keep organized.

This puzzle is lots of fun. My favorite part is that there are so many cards that it lasts for a long time. You can play as little or as much as you want at a time. There are different skill level cards that are clearly marked. It makes a novelty great gift for anyone who loves puzzles, brain teasers or cats!

Challenging spatial concept puzzles. Great for doing on the coffee table while watching TV or listening to a podcast. Small parts means it is probably not good for travel, don’t want to loose one of the cats.

This puzzle will provide hours of entertainment. It is trickier then first appeared. I would not recommend it for young kids. Even the easy boards take some time to solve. It is portable and can be played almost anywhere. The game pieces come in a travel case that is my only complain. The travel case can not be locked and comes apart easily allowing game pieces to fall out. It is probably not an issue for home play but if you want to take the game somewhere else inability to lock the travel case present a nuisance.

Adorable little cats! Game is challenging enough for adults and kids. Replay ability is high since you won’t remember how the cats went once you’ve gone thru all the puzzles. Solution cards are full size. Multi solution so you don’t necessarily need the solution cards. Only improvement they need is make the packaging. The cheap plastic box, lid and insert leaves no wiggle space.

My rating reflects the description for an online purchase. The game itself is great. No complaints. These comments don't reflect a purchase made in person.The size listed (box size) doesn't clarify how small some of the pieces are. The listing also doesn't well describe how easily the case lid falls off. This isn't a problem for adults who only keep the game in one place, but, if you intend on traveling with it, or giving it to younger players, or a family with children of multiple ages, the tiny size of some of the pieces and type of case might cause disappointment. I might suggest a better description of the pieces, a more secure case, or, a scaled up version in a travel pouch?
