Great reception on UHF 400 to 520mhz and good reception on VHF 150 MHz receive.

Grest 1/4 wave antenna. Matched it to a NMO mount and got almost. Perfect SWR reading. Other than it being delivered late I would buy another one

I have a nice (long) Diamond dual band antenna that I use on my Jeep but sometimes it's simply too long. When we're going through trees it's always getting hit and caught. I got this to put on in those situations and it works great. In those cases everyone in our group is close together so maximum range isn't critical. It's a nicely built and super compact antenna.

worked perfectly if your looking to freshen up your old police interceptor. I don’t know literally anything about radio frequencies and all that stuff however, I would like to learn but for now I bought these to freshen up the old nasty antennas that came with my police interceptor until I can remove them completely, which I might not. I might get the radios that attached to them if that’s a possibility to have some form of emergency communication.

Good size antenna for someone who lives in the city with repeaters nearby and who doesn’t want a super long 5/8th wave antenna sticking out of your roof.

Looks like it got over heated. They do send 2 thread on pieces, both had the problem.. The Superbat threads look clean and sharp 2nd (Pic), the Laird not so much. I was just mating them up by hand before getting the drill out. Got a nice slice for my trouble. Glad I did not drill the hole yet.

Wanted a low profile antenna for my Jeep Grand Cherokee so was exactly what I needed. Performance is acceptable for short range communication when we are traveling with a group. SWR was 1.5 in the 462 MHz and 1.2 in the 467 MHz range.
