Ceylon is your true cinnamon, not Cassie. A little goes a long way, perfect to spice up savory dishes, or just a pinch in a beverage.

This is the good stuff. It is NOT as flavorful as the Costco cinnamon, but is the best for your health. I like the flavor but was surprised that it wasn't nearly as strong.

This Cinnamon is the best and healthiest cinnamon there is . It tastes delicious in tea or coffee. It is supposed to lower blood sugar. Not a Doctor... It is very quality and on simple ingredient

Fresh well ground cinnamon with a very smooth texture. I use it for therapeutic purposes on my morning fruit & yogurt. It smells good but isn’t as sweet as cinnamon for cooking but better for you! The value is great as my home uses it daily & buying small bottles is not very cost effective. Definitely recommend.

I read a lot of conflicting info on which was the BEST cinnamon (I'm talking about taste not the health benefits). It was down to the Ceylon and the Korintje. I was looking for the taste closest to Cinnabon's Makara® Cinnamon. I took 2 photos showing 3 different cinnamon. (See photos) I made sure to buy the same brand of the 2. What I find: 1. The cinnamon in the front is Kirkland brand and IMO equal to the others. Once I go thru all this cinnamon I will most likely go back to it. 2. The Korintje is a darker cinnamon leaning towards the red side. Kirkland is more brown. Ceylon had a yellowish brown hue to it. 3. The Korintje had a sweeter taste (think cinnamon rolls, apple pie, coffee cake). Ceylon seems to have a HINT of heat to it (think red hots, big red, cinnamon toothpicks). Though I have read where ppl say the opposite, so this is only my opinion. 4. If you are looking at cinnamon for health benefits. You want the Ceylon. It's lower in coumarin for taking it at therapetic levels. If you are using it for cooking, either will work (you aren't using no where near as much). 5. If you are looking for the closest to the Makara® that would be the Korintje in color and taste. If I had to pick one of the 2 Frontier cinnamon, I'd go with the Korintje. IMO it's sweeter and the color is more appealing to me. I also mainly bake w/ cinnamon so like the sweeter side. Update 5/18/13 I mix this w/ the Korintje cinnamon and have found that to be as close as it gets to Cinnabon. Makara Cinnamon from Indonesian mountains is what Cinnabon uses but to my knowledge it is only available to Cinnabon. I have done taste tests of my homemade cinnamon rolls to Cinnabon w/ family, friends and neighbors and surprisingly they always pick MINE as better tasting.

I recently acquired this form of cinnamon mainly for my son who has special needs and loves cinnamon. I prepare all his meals and every time I add the more common Cassia cinnamon (Kirkland Saigon Cinnamon) we usually have on hand I wonder how much is too much before it could be harmful. I decided to go with Ceylon so now I don't have to worry about that. Of course I had to test some myself and I have to say that this cinnamon, apart from being safer to consume, is also extremely delicious and perfectly aromatic. It just has this incredible flavor that is superior to any of the other cinnamon I have ever had. The truth is I used to think the Kirkland brand of Cassia/Saigon was excellent in terms of flavor (although a safety concern) but this Frontier Ceylon puts the Kirkland in a very distant second place in terms of flavor and the huge bonus of also not being a safety concern. How perfect that it is both safer to consume and surprisingly much tastier. Describing flavor is not easy to articulate but this Frontier Ceylon we received is complex and yet subtle. It just hits all the right notes as far as I am concerned. Do yourself a favor and whether it be for life experience of trying something incredibly tasty, or just because it is safer to consume than Cassia (or both reasons), try some of this incredible cinnamon.

This is a great cinnamon and you really get a lot...I use it every morning and evening as a warm water and honey tonic....

Product arrived safely. Just what we wanted, a really great product. Taste is more refined than the usual cinnamon purchased at most supermarkets.
