Ceylon is your true cinnamon, not Cassie. A little goes a long way, perfect to spice up savory dishes, or just a pinch in a beverage.

Fresh well ground cinnamon with a very smooth texture. I use it for therapeutic purposes on my morning fruit & yogurt. It smells good but isn’t as sweet as cinnamon for cooking but better for you! The value is great as my home uses it daily & buying small bottles is not very cost effective. Definitely recommend.

This is the good stuff. It is NOT as flavorful as the Costco cinnamon, but is the best for your health. I like the flavor but was surprised that it wasn't nearly as strong.

This Cinnamon is the best and healthiest cinnamon there is . It tastes delicious in tea or coffee. It is supposed to lower blood sugar. Not a Doctor... It is very quality and on simple ingredient

Frontier Organic is a trusted source that is a major supplier to organic grocery stores. They offer fair trade varieties and generally quality products. This cinnamon has a taste very similar to “red hots” type candy if mixed with sugar and tasted. It seems to shine in recipes where the point is to add flavor complexity rather than to have cinnamon as the predominant flavor. For instance doing a straight substitution into a snickerdoodle recipe yielded cookies that did not have a sufficiently strong cinnamon taste and they had to be topped with a sprinkle of brown sugar and some fresh ground Saigon cinnamon to give them a flavor boost. But in other recipes like butterscotch cookies where cinnamon is used to build flavor complexity but is not supposed to be recognizable as a cinnamon flavor this cinnamon excels. So your appreciation for the flavor of this product may depend on what recipe you use. I have not tried adding larger amounts of this cinnamon in snickerdoodle cookies though. The package arrived well sealed in a mylar bag. I transferred it to vacuum sealed mason jars for storage, and you can see it’s a uniform fine powder with no obvious impurities. Smells of bright fresh cinnamon. I believe this is a quality product from a trusted company. It has been claimed that Ceylon cinnamon is less toxic than the more common chinese form that is typically found in grocery stores. I give this 4 out of 5 stars to reflect that it will not be the best choice for every recipe. But if you know Ceylon cinnamon is for you then you might bump this up to a 5 star review.
