My wife did a lot of research on the best product to file our 4 month olds nails. He only let her hand file them while nursing and asleep and his nails grow so quickly. She used this right when we received it and absolutely LOVE it! This product is super easy to use, has a night light on it that is super helpful, it’s quiet and didn’t disturb him at all. it only took a few minutes to do one hand and one foot versus a hand file which could take a whole nursing session for just one hand and it wouldn’t even be that great of a file. She loves the different file heads that it came with based on age. It even came with a refill pack. We will be recommending this to anyone we know with a baby!

Just used this for the first time on our little boy! We felt so bad the first few times we tried to cut his nails we trimmed them too short and hurt him. This was so quick and easy to use and was perfect for the job. It trimmed them down perfectly and was gentle enough that I didn’t have to worry about touching his skin with the head. I tested it on myself first and it doesn’t hurt on skin and stops with any kind of resistance. We’ll definitely be gifting this at future baby showers!

Love it. It is so easy to use. Best of all its gentle on my baby's nails. So much so she sleeps right through me using it. Safe, easy way to keep her nails short. Now I don't have to worry about her scratching up herself, nor do I have to try to get her to keep on the stupid baby kits. Highly recommend.

Great price for the product. Forgot to take a before picture... bought it because i want my baby to stop using mittens... even though i clipped his nail he would still scratch.. now with this baby filer works great and files to thw point where you dont feel the sharpness of the nail.I was able to use while feeding and for other hand I did it while baby was asleep... not loud at all... the only thing is the lighting could be brighter.. it's more like a warm color... but used it where there was good lighting.

Just buy it. Wish I bought it months ago and saved myself the sweat and tears with a regular clipper

This was perfect for filing down my 3 month old's nails. I was scared to use clippers on his tiny fingers, so thought I would try this. I was able to easily file the nails down quickly with the orange color attachment (there are different attachments for different ages/purposes). It is very gentle and does not hurt the baby's skin but is effective on the nails. The light on it is fairly useless though so I wouldn't try to use it at night or in a dark room. I have used it during daytime naps and it does not wake the baby up.

The file does trim the nail and even when hitting my babies fingers- no harm was done.The problem I had is that in order to not have any pointy edges you need to file the nail from many different angles. My baby kept scratching himself. Maybe this would be more easily achieved if your baby doesn’t move…I tried using this several times but in the end- I went and bought some baby clippers. Was SO much easier, quicker and his nails have no sharp edges!
