I ordered these to keep my very sharp double pointed needles from punching through my knitting bag. They fit nicely, and save me and the knitting bag from damage.

I use these tins to store my crochet hooks in my project bag. I love that it keeps my yarn from getting snagged on the end of the hook, and I can find my hook in my bag. No more digging through my half-done blanket or yarn ball for the hook. It's in the tin. Perfect!I usually worry about that weird metal smell getting on stuff and my yarn smelling like a coin jar or rusty metal, but these don't have that and I'm not worried about it over time.I can see keeping pens/pencils in here, and I do have a few watercolor pencils in one that I use for card making. It doesn't hold a lot, though.I'm not sure I'd use it for nicer pens or pencils. Things move around in here and I'd be afraid they'd get dinged up from always moving around in the tin. It would make a nice presentation box, though, if you put tissue in it to keep the pen safe.Very useful and well made!

I order these with the intent on using them for Pans of glitter to make a palette set for my cosmetics brand. They work perfectlyAnd I am very happy. Will definitely order more

Love these little tins! 8full size watercolor pans fit perfectly! A small brush will also fit laying on top of the pans.

4/5 of the pieces were in good condition, but one of the tin boxes had a lid that was bent. I was unable to close it and had to throw it away.

I will use them for teachers gifts

I bought these so I would have a hard case for my Apple Pencil and these work great for that! I can even store my spare charging cable in the bottom by winding it around. The pencil sticks to the lid so when you open it, it's right there to pick up! This is lots better than the soft pouches or the ones that have all the holes for different stuff that goes with the first gen pencil. Now I am looking for metal cases to store other tech items!
