Dyna-Glo 30,000 BTU Blue Flame Thermostatic Garage Vent Free Wall Heater, Black

We love this heater, it has thermostat, which really works well. We set to 3, and it will reach a temp, turn off, then turn back on. It throws a lot of heat. It will heat the whole bottom floor, and of course heat rises, so its enough to warm upstairs. This is a replacement, the last one we had was 41 years old, and Empire brand. They are too much $$, very happy with this one for $189.00

the directions for me were a little intimidating, but I'm not a school scholar, God gave me common sense, so I just installed it and it works so good that I was so surprised how easy and how well it worked, it warmed up the room so fast and it looked like no effort....it's a great buy for me and it is perfect for the application it's being used for..

Very nice wall mounted heater. Has great heat output however the battery powered igniter is a bit touchy so it does require a bit of adjustment so it’s not perpetually firing. Unit comes adjusted and is pretty much a straightforward installation.

I’m using this heater as an emergency back up for when power goes out or if my furnace breaks down on a holiday weekend when I may need to order parts. It works great with the thermostat which turns the unit on and off as needed. The noise from the gas is a bit louder that I thought it would be but not excessive.

I bought this as a replacement for a wall heater in my home. I wondered about the black color, but now that I have it, I really like the color better than the vanilla color or white they usually some in. Reason being, after you've had these heaters a while, they turn brown above where the flames are, just due to use. So now I don't think that will be a problem due to the black color. I installed this in my living room for full house heat and it works wonderful!

I have been trying for weeks to get this thing to work on a 100 lbs bottle of propane. I have tried 3 different regulators and various hookups. The issue is the gas is not getting through. While the pressure at the base of the unit is consistent and should be flowing, the unit will not allow any gas to go into the pilot lite. I have gone through the instructions at least a dozen times and even search you tube. One thing I have found is that low pressure will prevent the unit from working, and high pressure can disable the unit. You must keep the pressure at a set amount. 11 to 14 WC (Water Column) is the requirement for L.P.. There are 2 plugs on the bottom, one for L.P. and one for N.G.. It is really important that you leave the plug in the fitting you are not using. There is a valve at the back when you can select either gas. You must push it in and then turn to the marked setting all the way. There is NO electrical plug in unless you have a fan installed (Sold Separately). This should be simple as there are very few moving parts here. However, looking into the unit you will see that there are 3 valves that can allow gas to flow or prevent you for being warm. Two for the type of gas and the setting valve the controls the ON/OFF, Pilot and the amount of flame you have. Since I bought this to heat my shop I have not needed it all the time. Unfortunately I have not gotten ANY benefit from it. When I reached out to the company for help they wanted so much information it was ridiculous. My opinion is that you either stand behind your product or you look for ways to not have to stand behind your product.

The media could not be loaded. This heater is worth every penny heats up my Garage in minutes and when u buy the blower for it the heat circulates all over my friend bought his heater without the blower and it still does the job without the blower so imagine with it im about to buy another one for my basement asap
