EalionMed Transparent Dressing, Wound Bandage, Adhesive Patch, 4'' x 4.75'', 50 Pack, Clear, Breathable, Comfortable, Shower Shield, Tattoo Bandage

I bought these to help keep my PICC dressing secured a bit better. The nurse comes and changes it once a week but I’ve noticed that the edges of the dressing peel up and come off. This compromises the integrity of the dressing as a whole. I’ve already been through sepsis caused by my Hickman catheter and have this PICC in place until my doctors feel it’s okay to place a new Hickman cath. I don’t want any infection at this PICC site. I use these small dressings to help keep the edges of the dressing secured to my skin which is exactly what they do. My PICC dressing now stays intact and I am confident that the dressing is doing its job of keeping bacteria out. I’m very immunocompromised so this is critical. I recommend these dressings if you’re in a situation like I am and need to keep your line dressing intact. I’m also not quite as allergic to the adhesive on these dressings as I am to other transparent dressings that I have tried. I always react to tape and adhesives but I am able to tolerate these a bit longer than most. I still change them a few times during the week to give my skin a chance to recover from the irritation but I’m a walking allergic nightmare. Most people probably are not as allergic to everything in the world like I am.

I used this for healing my hand poked tattoos on my hands. It stays on strong when applied to dried skin (if your skin is wet from applying lotion, cream, ointments, it will not stay stuck. and that applies for all tape). It does not irritate my skin, and wells bandaids destroy me. I read reviews of saniderm and second skin causing intense reactions and decided to stay clear of them. So far after 24 hours It has held on well and caused zero itchiness, redness, or discomfort. I'm using it on my wrist and finger, so it's in a high use location and has stayed on well. I'm impressed and very happy. Note, in this photo I'm using the ealion tape on my wrist and another brand on my finger. However, when I changed my bandages after the initial 24 hours , I decided to use the ealion bandages for both locations and just made an incision in the bandage so that I could wrap it around my finger and knuckle easier. The 50 pack is a good value compared to other brands as well. I'm also happy that these will come in handy for waterproof bandaging on my kids. They have a habit of washing their hands with bandaids on them and not changing them. Gross! So this ought to help with that.

I'm a retired surgeon. In addition to my private practice I also saw patients in a wound care clinic for many years. As you'd expect, I've had a significant amount of experience with a lot of wound care products. Even in retirement, family and friends ask me to take a look at various injuries with some frequency so I keep a fairly extensive collection of medical supplies on hand - hemostatic agents, suture kits, Israel battle dressings, suture kits, assorted bandages etc.. Last year I decided to try this EalionMed brand of transparent dressing when a neighbor had a nasty gash in his leg from a car accident. I liked the large 10cm x 12cm size and found that it worked as well as much more expensive brands I've used. In fact, its performance was indistinguishable. I've used it several times since, most recently today. I just finished dressing a partial thickness friction burn on my brother in law's leg (he got his dog's leash wrapped around his leg just as the dog took off chasing something). I applied an antiseptic dressing and used this film dressing to hold it in place. The dressing worked so well for me today and all the other times I've used it that I'm taking the time to write this review. This is a quality product offered at a very fair price. If you have need of a transparent film dressing this should serve you well.

Been using to hold medical patches on. These are much more cost effective then drugstore brands I’ve been buying. Clean skin with alcohol To remove glue residue oils work great like, Baby, vegetable, Peanut, Virgin, Olive,…ect. Adhesive works better when warm. Usually placing between hands and breathing works well. These particular badges have a little piece of white tape on it, that’s very sticky. After removing make sure to flatten out bandage edge an hold down with finger a few seconds. If using 2 or more together start at bottom working up an over lap a bit. To help water run off when taking showers. I have noticed some redness and irritation when removing. After using oils. Recently been changing placement From one side of the body to the other to give skin arrest. Banges work great and plan to keep using.

I am a frequent buyer of this item and brand. I use it for covering cream 1 hour before a treatment as well as to cover my Libre 3 Plus to keep it on. Most adhesives burn me but this one is awesome! Please NEVER change the formula! It is also easy to remove without tearing your skin. Again, phenomenal product!

This worked really well to cover a temporary heart monitor, but, the first time I used it, then started to remove it, it was stuck to the heart monitor and would have pulled it off, too. I had to cut it off around the edge of the monitor, then the next time I showered I covered the monitor with an XL bandaid, then put this bandage over all of it. That worked. It pulls some when you remove it, and my skin was red but it went away. It seems completely waterproof if you follow the directions closely and seal it up really well around the edges.

We have been using this product for three years—purchasing from the same vendor—as a sterile dressing for my daughter's bilateral nephrostomy tubes. She is allergic to the ones they use in the hospital, so we take our own. We tried at least 12 different brands before we found these, but these have been an absolute lifesaver, UNTIL THE MOST RECENT BOX! We have recommended them to several other patients who are allergic to the standard hospital brand, and they have been very useful for each person, as they cause no allergic reaction and are waterproof. UNTIL THIS BOX. The first dressings out of the box rolled up on the edges and came off within a couple days. Then, the most recent ones out of the box came completely OFF within 5 minutes of putting them on. This is a waste of time and money, and a huge infection risk for my daughter! Also, I have to put bio patches around the tubes, and each patch costs $28, but when the dressing falls off, so does the bio patch. PLEASE FIX YOUR PRODUCT. GO BACK TO THE HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT IT WAS BEFORE. MY DAUGHTER'S LIFE AND HEALTH DEPEND ON IT, because she is allergic to everything else.. I have still given 3 stars, because it USED to be an absolutely wonderful product, but this newest batch is not even worth ONE STAR. PLEASE FIX IT!

I've been dealing with a vascular ulcer on my calf for nearly 3 months. The doctors did not tell me it had to be kept dry, so every night I'd get in a hot shower, let the water run on it and have terrible pain all night, meaning I didn't get a night's sleep for two months. I finally got the right info from a nurse. A friend recommended another product, which was more expensive and would take longer to get by mail. No local pharmacy had anything. Amazon did not have that product, but had this one. It works perfectly is cheaper and arrived in two days. It's adhesive enough to keep my ulcer dry while showering, but peels off painlessly when I have to apply my medicated bandage.
