Worked great for my 1000 piece puzzle! Easy to use and it kept things organized while I worked on the puzzle.

With two new kittens in the house I was looking for a way to continue with jigsaw puzzles. This works very well. The mat has a different feel than building directly on the table, the pieces don't slide on the mat, but it's well worth it to be able to safely roll up the puzzle and put it away. The markings on the mat are helpful when assemble the frame, keeping everything straight. It's a little challenging if you need to adjust the puzzle if things aren't lined up just right, again no sliding action. To date I've worked two puzzles, a 750 piece and a 1000 piece. I lay all the loose pieces out flat on the mat prior to rolling up the puzzle for put away. I found the loose pieces do move a bit when I unroll for the next session but most of the connected pieces stay together. The further along in the build the less movement there is when unrolling.

The inflatable part has started to lose air with time. Besides that, it works fine.

This mat became the perfect solution to my cats messing up my puzzle building. It actually does what it promises, every time I would stop and roll up the not finished puzzle, everything would be in its place when I rolled it out. I highly recomemnd it if that's what your looking for, cats or any reason. Very easy to use. It does gather my cat's hair, but every fabric does that.

This is not non slip. It’s just a large piece of felt. Everything else is as expected.

This was my first puzzle mat purchase. You get what you pay for, here. Not sure how it has so many good reviews. The blow up tube was fine. However, I didn't think about it when I ordered, but I will be traveling with this and I am not sure the tube will hold up. We won't find out, as I have already ordered another mat for double the price. Because the "mat" itself is horrible. Felt, which I thought would be ok. It is not. 1. It is just a piece of felt. I could have made this for a fraction of the price. If you are on a budget, go to a fabric store and get a pool noodle and some rubber bands. 2. It comes creased. So it cannot be used right out of the box. I am sure if I wash and dry, or wet and hang or lie flat, the creases may come out. Honestly, it isn't worth the effort. Because, ... 3. It is nearly impossible to slide pieces around. Which is just annoying. Do yourself a favor and spring for another option. I suppose you could gift this to someone you don't like. lol

Someone was thinking when they came up with this. My family loves to use puzzles but we have a few issues when it comes to putting one together: we have a cat that likes to steal pieces and chew them at night when we leave pieces on the table; we have to figure out how to cover everything when we’re done for the time being; we can’t use our kitchen table when we’re working on a puzzle (and sometimes we get the 2,000 piece or more so that can leave an unusable table for quite a while). This handy dandy thing solves those problems. Lay the big gray piece down, you can find the size of your puzzle you’re working on as a guide of where to put your edge pieces, when you’re done for the time being roll it up and store it. Pieces stay safely in place, the cat can’t ruin our puzzle and best of all (to me) you can use your table and not have to look at the unfinished puzzle till you get it out again. The only downside I can see is you sacrifice having a nice clean, flat surface for your puzzle since you put it together on top of the felt. There’s no way around that but the pros outweigh that con. It only takes a minute to put it out or away. Great purchase!

The moment the puzzle is placed on the mat , it immediately sticks.

I’m not sure quite what I expected, but not something that needed to be inflated for use. It was for a gift, and appears to me to be clumsy and awkward for use. Certainly the 90 year old recipient doesn’t appear to be using it.
