Hi Mine did not come with original packaging but it was fine no issues with how it was packed.

What is the benefit of WiFi and cellular over just wifi? Daft question i suppose but huge price difference!!

It depends if you are going to use it out and about a lot and you can afford the data tariffs for mobile data. I had a ipad pro a while back and it was both and I never actually used the cellular so for me it was a waste of money. Hope that will help you decide.
