Professional Matte Hed, Medium Hold Texturizing Hair Cream, Matte Finish, Humidity Resistant with Kaolin Clay, 83 g

Hands down my favourite hair styling product; despite me trying many others over the years it has been this way for a good couple of decades now. No scalp irritation, pleasant smell, easy to wash, no grease and no little flakey bits visible for the product! Absolutely recommend this, it may be slightly pricier than other products of a similar size, but it really is a case of getting what you pay for.

Quite difficult to use the tube to push the fudge through but only a very small amount is needed to give volume to your hair and hold it in position all day. Does not make your hair sticky or stiff like lacquer.

Used this product before, normally very good but plastic internal parts were faulty and wouldn't work. Should be made of stronger parts

If it’s within your budget there really aren’t many better options. Great hold.

After nearly 20 years of use they seem to have inexplicably ruined the packaging design. The pump literally doesn’t work. Otherwise 5 stars.

This new formula feels like a cheap knockoff of the old formula of Fudge Matte Hed. It doesn't smell as great (honestly, it smells like rotten carrots!). It also has a slightly weaker hold (8 vs 9). What really set the old formula apart from other products was that it felt light, yet gave a stronger hold (it was honestly like magic!!!). This new formula feels sticky and heavier in the hair. It feels as if a lot of product is in the hair even when I only use a pea-sized blob of the product. This is possibly due to the new addition of kaolin clay, which isn't living up to the hype. This isn't a cynical review - I've been open-minded to the new formula and done all I can to maintain my hairstyle with it. In fact, I will continue to use this new version because I've used the old formula for years and simply don't have the time to experiment with new products. However, I kindly ask Fudge to please please please put the old formula back on the market, as other retailers on Amazon are quite expensive £££££. :(

La cire ne sort pas sans exercer une pression, les fins de tube sont donc bien galères. Les 4 derniers achetés sont encore pire, je l'achète depuis des années, mais là il va falloir trouver un autre produit, dommage car la cire est bien.
