These are pretty perfect for cleaning firearms. Not only are they longer and sturdier q-tips but the ends are more tightly wound and hold together better. Please complete them in smaller spaces that I can usually get the Q-tip through and the staff is much more durable. When the ends are dirty you can cut them off and sharpen the end and use the bamboo sticks as a cleaning and pick tool. The bamboo will take a very sharp point.. Sometimes I even use it as a punch. If you get the two-sided ones you get 1000 swabs for about $15 and wow that’s more expensive than Q-tips these are much more utility. A particular problem area for me is the injector port and the feed ramp on my Ruger Mark four. Gunk gets in the sides and into the port and I can’t reach a cuter. I love that these have a different tip on each end. The narrow tip is easy to get into really fine areas. Please hold up a lot better than regular q-tips. I mainly use them for cleaning my pistols.

Cotton is a little scarce but I kinda expected it. Decent value i guess.

I bought these for cleaning the house. They are perfect for removing debris from small areas, like floor vents, around the sink faucets and dusting. They work much better than Q-Tips because of the handle length.

Works really good for cleaning

These are a 'must have' at the gun cleaning mat. Cheap enough so you can use as many as you need, and they get the grit and soot out of the grooves and small places where it can cause a problem. I bought several boxes and it is one of the mainstays of cleaning guns. Don't forget rags, patches and good cleaning oil too.

Great toll

These are hands down the best cotton swabs ever. From the flexible bamboo shafts to the tight and excellently shaped buds they are perfect for so many uses. I don’t own a gun but in craft, modelling & so many other areas they are my go-to swab.

They look good but the description of the size is wrong. these are not 5.56mm as advertised. they are only 4mm which means they will not fit tight to clean the carbon ring on a 22LR. look else ware if this is what your after.
