MBP Early 2011 13" A1278 MC700LL/A Good!
To repeat: this was used in a MacBook Pro Early 2011 13" A1278 MC700LL/A. It works! I replaced one of the original 2GB modules with this and left one in and I now have 10GB. Performance is "satisfactory", ie, I don't perceive any slowing from the chip or the mixin'n'matchin' of the 2GB and this 8GB. Of course the overall everything is faster as one would expect, especially when a virtual Windows 10 session is also running. Note that I paired this upgrade with an SSD and between the two I ended up with a pretty adequate laptop.

Revived my 2011 Macbook Pro
I have a 13" late 2011 MBP. It seemed to be on its way out, crashing pretty frequently when I would use any web browser. I had upgraded to an SSD and increased from 4 to 6 GB of RAM but it was still crashing. I popped this in to double my RAM and voila, it works like new again. And it took all of about 5 minutes to install, super easy too.

Good memory, but was unneeded as my MacBook had soldered in memory
It turned out my computer has soldered in memory, and I’m gonna hang onto this in case I need it for another computer.

Awesome! Works great in my Mac!
I installed two of these in my late-2011 Macbook Pro 13-inch. Apple says that it has a max of 8GB of memory, but 16 seems to work fine. I really have to say that installing two of these 8GB sticks into my machine really made a noticeable difference in speed and performance. I am a very satisfied customer.

Old machine upgraded!
It got it on time. I upgraded my hp elitebook 8460p from 4Gb RAM to 12GB RAM. It’s working and running smoothly now. Happy with the purchase!

No complaints at all. Reliable so far, and fast shipping. Even though Hynix is a huge, major manufacturer, I've never heard of the manufacturer "Timetec". and don't know how good their warranty or customer service will be, if needed.

Very happy about the 10 GB
Arrived in 2 days, as promised via Prime. Popped open my Mac-Mini (mid-2011), popped out the first 2 GB stick, and popped in this new 8 GB stick to give me a total of 10 GB. Powered it on, and poof, everything is now running VERY smoothly. Before, with only 4GB RAM, it was using Compressed RAM (which is slow) and had no room for file cache -- so everything was very very slow before. I am a software developer, and the files cache is vital for performance on this. Very happy about the 10 GB. Thanks Timetec!

I would highly recommend
Use this in my mid 2010 13 inch MacBook Pro. It didn’t boot correctly the first time but after a restart it seems to work without a problem. My old MacBook is way faster then it was prior.

Nueva vida para mi viejo Dell XPS L502X
Tengo un Dell XPS L502X de 2011 al que instalé Ubuntu 22.04 hace unas semanas y sus 6 GB (módulo de 2 GB y módulo de 4 GB) se quedan ya muy cortos debido al continuo swapping que realiza al abrir aplicaciones que necesito. Por ello decidí ampliar la memoria y aunque Dell indica que éste modelo solo admite 8 GB como máximo, la documentación de la placa base y el procesador indican que podría con 16 GB. Entonces, decidí buscar un módulo de 8 GB que estuviese bien de precio a ver si lo podía reemplazar por el de 2 GB y así tener 12 GB. Encontré éste módulo que tiene las características que buscaba: SO-DIMM DDR3 a 1333MHz, CAS 9 a 1.5 V y como me dio confianza que el fabricante indicaba que era compatible con un MAC Book Pro, decidí pedirlo. Al día siguiente llegó el típico sobre de cartón de Amazon y dentro el módulo de memoria dentro de un embalaje de plástico que estaba sellado. La protección ofrecida por el fabricante es bastante buena. La instalación del módulo fue sencillísima: cambié el módulo de 2 GB por éste y arranqué el portátil. La BIOS detectó los 12 GB directamente y Ubuntu arrancó sin problema. Ahora, mi viejo portátil se comporta como si fuese otro y es capaz de ejecutar todas las aplicaciones que necesito con bastante soltura (para un ordenador de más de 12 años, claro) y sin ningún tipo de swapping por menos de 20 euros. A ver si con suerte llega a los 20.
