As an ex chef, I always buy a decent knife, this one doesn't disappoint, its solid and heavy, and a 25 year guarantee. There are cheaper ones on the market, but you get what you pay for.

I love this knife. Weighty without being heavy, lovely to hold, so I was devastated when I dropped it on a tiled floor and it snapped in two. Taylor’s Eye Witness who sold it to me through Amazon were brilliant and have immediately sent a replacement even though it was 8 months after I bought the knife. Slightly unsure about this at time of purchase as it was to replace a more traditional (20 year old) Sabatier Lion Chef's Knife...Needn't've worried, just enough curve to facilitate fine chopping of garlic etc. and the blade's scalloped surface really does stop raw meat from sticking to it!Magnificently well balanced and comfortable in my hand, absolutely love it...

Knife is better and sharper then any knives that I have. Was hoping for something better but for the money it’s ok. Food sticks to knife when slicing.
