Are the holes on the top big enough to put your finger through, can you put the pouch it came with around your leg and are they good for throwing far?

I can fit my entire pinky through the hole, my index finger goes down to the second knuckle. I am an adult male with medium sized hands. The carrying case/pouch has elastic velcro straps. You could strap it to your leg, but with walking or running I think it would slide down. They don't have a lot of weight to them. I don't think they would have any power beyond 15-20 feet. Hope this helps.

I've never throw knives before do you think these are good to start with and what should I throw them at wood?

I bought them for my boyfriend for his birthday. They are smaller than the ones he had started throwing with so they were a little hard to figure and throw right. He throws at a huge chunk of soft wood, hard wood will bend/snap the tips. Another thing you might want to try is Hatches, I watch my bf throw them all the time and tried it myself and loved it! Be careful, if you throw one and it hits another one or a hard something they can snap right in half..good luck!

Haven't heard that expression "coffee", but the knives are good starters for learning to throw.

The Fourth Wing (ish) on a budget

So my daughter has been reading 'The 4th Wing' series and I thought it would be fun to get her some throwing knives! They are cheap and there are a lot of them so I was not worried about it too much. Yeah they are super light weight and that actually makes them harder to throw. But she feels like a hero chucking them in the backyard. I'll get her some heavier ones now that I know she likes them. I wonder if there are alloy hilted ones.....

Works better than I thought.

I bought a lot of throwing knifes for my business and most were not good. This one however has worked great. They are very small and thin but they do throw and stick really well.

Just buy S&W throwing knives

These are bad, bent on the first throw, rope came loose and fell off. I threw them against a cork board, so god knows what a tree or whatever else could do to them.
