Stitch Workshop: Herringbone Stitch: Basic Techniques, Advanced Results Paperback – May 8, 2012

I've purchased the other books in this series, and I'm glad I have all of them . None of the designs knocked my socks off, but there are a few that I like in each book. This one is no different. I like it because it starts with the very basics, and the designs get more complex as one progresses through the book. If you're just starting with Herringbone stitch, or if you want a refresher of the basics (like me) you'll like this book and the others as well. However, if you are already experienced, I think the book is too expensive for the two or three intriguing designs.I will make this caveat. I'm much older than the average person who would want this book. Maybe more of the designs would be of interest to a younger beader.

This book has several good patterns, though it has a few I wouldn't consider because they are odd; it was quickly shipped!

This is one of my favorite beading techniques. This particular book shows both drawing and actual photographs of the beadwork. I prefer instructional photographs opposed to drawings, but this book is one of the better, because it does give you that choice. I would recommend this book to anyone.

This is a great instruction book. I am a beginner to beads and this book was very helpful. I would recommend it to others.

I've had this publication for two weeks and have already made two items with plans for more. Beaders can either duplicate the project or easily modify to fit their own tastes. I'm very pleased with this book and recommend it to novice and experienced beaders.

This line of books for beading is very good. I did know herringbone before but the book gave me more ideas to use it.

I purchased this book especially for a particular pattern and was not disappointed.Herringbone has been difficult for me and the instructions have helped me a lot.Recommend this not only for the patterns but for learning more about herringbone.

I got this book yesterday, and it's one of the best books in my expanding bead book collection. Good pictures, clear instructions and a mix of projects make this a must! However, it isn't just the projects themselves, amazing as these are - it's the inspiration you get from them, where you find yourselves thinking 'I wonder if I could?'. The answer is, a resounding YUP! LOL! I will definately be buying the other books in this series (RAW and Peyote) Recommended!

My book arrived ahead of predicted delivery date and in excellent condition. No problems with the packaging. The book's content is suitable for experienced beadweavers and beginners alike. Something for everyone - earrings, bracelets and necklaces. Clear and concise instructions with easy-to-follow diagrams. Definitely one for the collection!

This is a great book if you want to learn to design and make unusual jewellery. The instructions are clear and easy to follow therefore good for beginners and the more experienced alike.

Love these Stitch workshop books, patterns are easy to follow but inspire you to try different techniques and to create your own designs.
