Good light, lasts almost ten months of constant use when dimmed
I use two of these in a Broan Allure hood, which has two bulbs and two brightness levels. We never turn the lights off. They are usually on the low setting, and occasionally switched to high. They are rated at 2500 hours - presumably on full power. That's about 3.5 months, but I expected to get longer use because they are almost always dimmed. I started using these bulbs on May 25 of last year, and today is March 17 and the first one has gone out (the other is still going strong). That's nearly 10 months; exactly 296 days, or 7,104 hours of continual use on the dim and occasional bright setting. The light is warmer than I expected, which is nice. At night, when all the lights are out except these, the kitchen has a nice warm feel. The light spreads out very evenly and the light of the two bulbs blend into each other nicely - you don't really notice that the light is coming from two bulbs which are 20 inches apart. Our previous hood had a single light, and we were concerned that the two-lamp hood would produce two distinct hot spots, but this is not the case. One reviewer said the bulbs are 2.75 inches in diameter. Mine are exactly 2.5 inches and fit my Broan Allure hood with room to spare. UPDATE: Today is Nov 25, 2014. I have not replaced either the original long-lasting bulb, or the replacement for the one original bulb that failed. The lights in our dual-light Broan hood are still always on reduced setting, every hour of every day.

All good, eventually
Initially I had rated the seller a 2/5 because one of the two bulbs sent was defective and I was not able to get a response on the first day after notifying them via e-mail. However, I contacted them by phone the next business day and they sent me a replacement for the defective bulb which arrived within 4 days of our phone conversation. They were very cordial and apologetic for the defective bulb. The replacement bulb works fine and I would now recommend this seller without any reservations.

Works fine, no complaints
I have had no issues with this replacement bulb for my Wolf exhaust hood. I was hoping to find a lamp with the little ridges along the edges to help install and remove the lamp but this bulb does not have them. I can't speak to the life cycle of the bulb but I'm happy with the light it produces as compared to the other bulbs I'm using.

I am not sure if I just got a bad bulb or what
I purchased two of these that lasted for a little over a year. I repurchased one in December and it is already out in February. I am not sure if I just got a bad bulb or what. They are nice and flush in our stove fan/light. They also put out a decent amount of light for cooking.

Hard To Find In Stores
I was happy to find these Sylvania PAR20 wide flood bulbs at Amazon. I use them in the Broan hood over my range, which has three brightness settings. The wide flood is the best bulb for that application since it allows the light to spread over the entire cook top. The bulbs give out a nice warm light and last a very long time. I've tried other PAR20 bulbs but none of them give out a nice wide beam of light or last as long as these. I would recommend these bulbs to anyone looking for a good quality PAR20 flood light bulb.

It's a Light Bulb, And it Works
This is a commodity item that fits my expectations. It is the proper size, provides light with the proper warmth (color temperature is warm white about 2800K I would say), and has the proper amount of lumens (it matches my other 50 watt bulbs from another manufacturer. I purchased this to replace one of the four light bulbs in my Viking Range Hood. Viking, unsurprisingly, offers to sell you the same bulb for 4x the price. This one was an exact replacement for the burnt out bulb at a fraction of the cost.

Well one out of the two bulbs worked... dealing with the return and credit at this point. great price, pain to not have both work!

Inconsistant
I bought two for my range hood. They're bright enough. The only problem is that they were purchased at the same time, installed at the same time, and go on at the same time (there is only one switch which turns on both lights at once), yet one bulb burned out in about a week, while the other is going strong over a month later. And they weren't cheap, so I'll have to venture out to the big box store and see if I can find something similar that hopefully burns longer than a week. In my old range hood, the lights lasted for a year.
