I am 1/4 black so I have curly, dry hair. After using this product (I use this brand for both the shampoo and conditioner) my curls were shinny, bouncy, beautiful, and my hair felt thicker. And the scent is glorious 😍

I have naturally pin-straight, coarse Asian hair and an oily scalp. This shampoo is perfect for my hair type since many shampoos with natural ingredients aren't strong enough to clean my hair just by a single wash. It is drying, but I always do a deep condition after a wash, so it doesn't bother me. It doesn't have a strong scent either, which I like. It leaves me feeling refresh for at least two days after a single wash. I'd say it is almost like a deep cleanse, and it could be drying depending on how oily your scalp is.

I love the moisturizing ability of this conditioner. It does what it says it promises. My only complaint is the fragrance. It is so BIG. I know some people love it, but plenty of people don't.Maui, can you make an unscented product? Or at least a much less potent smelling one?

I’ve tried quite a few Maui scents, but this Hemp is my absolute favorite! With a fresh, clean smell, I get daily compliments. I also never have to worry about the “greasy hair” look with this shampoo and conditioner, for the Hemp scent gives my hair that healthy glow. With exceptional value for the price you pay, I highly recommend Maui.

I have 4C hair and found this to be very drying. This would probably work nicely on other hair types. I'll stick with Carole's Daughter Black Vanilla shampoo.

I used to use tresseme and suave and after switching to this my hair feels so much healthier and soft. The scent is like herbs and it was a little weird to me but overall i definitely recommend.

I have long gray hair and it gets dry. This is fantastic!
