KFC Firelog 5 Pounds with 11 Herbs and Spices

When this gem arrived I stored it I’m garage until we used it on our camping trip. The garage smelled like fried chicken. It came time to go camping. I packed the van, making sure this wonderful fire log was one of the first things I packed. The 2 hour drive to the Adirondacks was a very aromatic experience. The van smelled like the inside of a KFC restaurant. God I wanted to eat some KFC. The weather was rainy so the log was stashed in the fire bin for a few days. Every time I uncovered it I turned into Homer Simpson saying “Mmmmm, fried chicken!” Finally a clear night. Time to light this baby. I let the bag with a match. Hmm. Not much happened. Ok, the torch will light this thing. Hmm. Ok, maybe a little kindling will help. That got it going. One it was on fire it burned very nice. And yes, YES, it did smell like, chicken! Well, when the breeze would waft you’re way anyways. All in all, it was well worth the money. The packaging is funny, the smell is there! If you burn it inside in a fireplace, I imagine the smell probably all goes up the chimney, but for an outdoor campfire it is noticeable! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a hankering for some KFC and need to go there ASAP!

Bought this thinking it would be cool but it had no smell at all. Total ripoff. The one I got said 2021 version so if you get one that old return it. It is supposed to smell best before burning so sniff the package. If you don't detect a smell return it. What a waste of money.

I can’t wait to give this to my brother-in-law - we only do absurd gifts and I’ve been having a hard time beating the chicken feet socks he gave me. This, however, is going to do it! The smell is pretty authentic (I had the box sitting in my office and I started to feel a bit hungry because of the faint fried chicken smell, which equally horrified and delighted me when I realized what was happening). The packaging is attractive and the box makes it easy to wrap. I can’t speak to how it burns or if it smells fried-chickenier when it’s burning, but I really hope so.

so i bought these for gifts for Xmas, it was good for a laugh, and when it came time to use one, it had the appearance of shredded KFC buckets pressed together into a brick held together with glue and chicken grease. Honestly though, the dog couldn't take her eyes off it and tried eating it before burning. buuuut......all in all it KINDA smelled like KFC, not a bad productin general, it burns hot and long, I'd recommend using outside rather than fireplace, its kinda like a buying a grease fire in solid form.

Only giving it four stars because of how absolutely hilarious it is! The smell was INSANE as soon as I got the product, I ended up giving the gift early because it stunk up my entire house within the first hour of having it. Stunk up my brother's garage, didn't smell too much like actual fried chicken when it was burning but my clothes smelled like chicken the next day. Would buy again as a gag gift.

works ok in home fireplace, but you REALLY get the bucket o chicken vibe from a fire pit.

This really smells like KFC chicken! I got one as a gift and wanted to keep it so I went back around and bought two more before I used one of them! I love the fire it creates. Makes the whole place smell a little like KFC chicken but doesn’t overwhelm you with the smell!

I cannot emphasize enough of how much of a waste of money this was - burned in my indoor fireplace and could not smell the faintest whiff of anything more than a simple firelog - absolutely zero fried chicken smell. I'm a total sucker for falling for this - and I had high hopes. The upside is that it's a great firelog and burned as designed.

It tasted really bad. I had diarrhea and double-vision for a week. It didn't even come with gravy. Really good though. An awesome gift idea.

Still waiting to burn this baby but when I do I think I will have to get a 3 piece feed to compare the smell

No scent at all. Couldn’t smell a thing after opening the package before lighting. Didn't smell anything resembling KFC while it was burning. This was noted by 5 people. It did burn real good with nice flames.
