Clear and Compassionate
This author speaks and presents with great clarity. As he breaks down the massage he advises on common mistakes and how to manage them. I found his Sen (energy) line illustrations clearer than any other Thai massage books and his focus on kindness seems to be very grounder and integrated. The book feels very authentic and heartfelt and offers good clear technical guidance.

I have read many books on Thai Massage and this one, whilst having some good descriptions of therapist positions, really doesn't do it for me. It didn't follow enough of the traditional pathway for me. The CD was a good idea and does help support the reading. Never try to learn Thai massage from a book though. A useful supplementary book although there are better books around.

Excellent book & DVD
I'm a massage therapist thinking about taking a Thai-Yoga massage class to add to my modalities. I thought I'd buy this book/DVD set and try it out before I invested the considerable time and money into taking a class. After having reviewed the book and and DVD all I can say is ...WOW. The DVD is great for learniong a basic routine and the book supports it well. The info is presented in a clear and concise manner. The price on this set is lower than most other books and/or DVD out there and and is filled with lots of great info. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering learning this great modality to use with friends and family.
