Purchased as a present for a close relative who says that these are excellent lights for his paddleboarding

Good for night rowing
Ironically it is not so much the torch that makes this product very useful but the mounting bracket. They are expensive but good. The bracket adheres to the boat effectively and the torch has a number of settings; the flashing is most useful for night rowing.

Nothing else like this on the market. 10/10
The build quality of these lights is superb. They feel incredibly secure when attached to the boat and are bright enough to be seen from quite a distance (although not for navigation). Can't recommend these lights enough for any rower heading into autumn/winter training. You can buy a load of spare 3M stickers to attach them to as many boats as you want without having to faff around with tape.

I wish it was more high lumen for visibility but it does what it says brilliant bow or stern light but cannot be used as a navigation

Misleading description
The good part: the light looks great, it's bright and the light is strong. The catch: You receive a RED light while the main advert is for WHITE. I.e Unusable for sculling boats. The idiot: Me for not reading the small print and trusting manufacturers won't flog you stock they don't need. Fun fact: Up to 65% of all items bought on Amazon have been returned.
