NIV, New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs, Pocket-Sized, Paperback, Black

The print is small but it's a pocket Bible so that's expected. Pages are great. Cover could have been thicker, it's very thin. There was no packaging at all. It's like a God hater just threw the 3 I bought into the amazon box. No packaging at all. All of them were damaged outwardly. 2 were bent terribly and I was going to gift them. I'll still use them and find a way to share them. And funny... Yesterday my nephew who I was going to give this to... He got a pocket NIV with psalms and proverbs by Gideon International given to him and it's the same size only sturdier. Thanks be to God! Please package these from now on. I'd love to buy more and recommend them in good conscience. Thank you.

If you owe many bibles like me . Some are big or hard cover. This is a compact soft cover large print & red letter edition.

Great Bible, bought as a graduation gift and he loved it. Easy to read and understand the Word of God. Highly Recommend.

Well, it’s my fault that I didn’t read the description thoroughly. I had a preconception that the book would be as big as a man’s hand, but it was more like a man’s palm. Very cute, but we cannot see the print well enough to use it as a tool for presenting the gospel. I’m keeping them because they’re $4 and I can give them away to someone with better eyesight, but I’ll be looking for the larger ones with larger print.

Just checking out a good New Testament and Psalms as a giveaway to those who might be interested in learning more about Jesus. This edition definitely fits the bill. It's reasonably priced and small to fit into a pocket. But just be warned that print is small. Other than that it's pretty good! Thanks.

this was bought to go on vacation with, I thought it would be a good travel size. Well it is to good! the print is so small i could not read it with reading glasses without stain.

This Bible is inexpensive and will not stand up to much abuse, but it is perfect for giving away or even keeping for yourself! I usually keep a few of these around the house (and in the car) to give to Mormon missionaries when they knock on the door. LDS typically don't study the bible in depth and only use the KJV when they do. While they may be skeptical of the Bible's origins they still respect it as one of their four scriptures. I've always felt that the NIV is a good modern day translation for those looking to get to the heart of the meaning of the scriptures without getting weighed down.

In times of stress, it’s great to have this handy. The NIV is easy to understand, and the text is not so small that it is hard to read.

I've owned one of these for close to ten years. It's small enough to fit in a jacket pocket and not protrude. Small print so don't forget your glasses. Got one as a gift for a friend. This is a New International Version translation - it focuses more on ease of reading than poetic prose.
