Q: How does it charge being its cordless?

The pot itself is cordless but the portion that heats up the kettle has a cord; you would plug that part into the wall and then the kettle goes on top of that, switch it on and the water heats up. Once done then the kettle itself can be taken anywhere because theres no cord!

They do say it is BPA free and the lid is stainless steel on the inside. Great kettle. No bad water taste.
