My wife as broken multiple phone screens this year with various name brand cases that claimed to be protective against drops. I ordered this as sort of a joke since it was supposed to be so heavy duty. I received it 2 days earlier than expected. As I opened the package, I noticed immediately how heavy it was. It came with an extra 3 screws for the case, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and an Allen wrench. I placed her phone in and gave it to her. She scoffed at how heavy it was and I laughed jokingly. Not 5 mins later she dropped her phone (surprise) and it clattered to the our hardwood floor facedown. The case worked perfectly. The gorilla glass did not shatter and the phone pulled through unscathed. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who's tough on phones.

For 11.00 it's a nice case, love the glass. Would have been perfect except for a chip in the alleged "gorilla" glass, but still I'm not upset enough to return it. Basically, it's neopreen rubber (like a wetsuit) for the middle layer which surrounds the iPhone, then sandwiched between two aluminum powder coated frames, the allen screwed together. The back has more neoprene so it's not metal hitting your table top, or smoothly sliding around on your dashboard. It should protect the phone from a drop, I'll let you know next time I drop it. I've repaired the back plate twice now, so I finally broke down and bought a case... sucks, because I liked it best when it was thinner... may as well get a fat assed iphone 7 now. (Not!)I'll keep fixing this iPhone 4s until I can't. LOL

this case is awesome. Mil-spec look is stylish and utilitarian, and the functionality and ergonomics o0f this thing are outstanding. i didnt have te same issue with charging cable not fitting although you do jave to do it just so. it is easy to accidentally mute the phone, and the black on black button doesnt help here. its a little tricky to input text characters near the corners where the metal edges make it challenging. but those are extremely minor complaints. this replaced a 4 year old Otter Box with a plastic screen cover which had gotten scratched and wasn't always responsive. For not too much $$, i completely upgraded, added protection, and an improved touchscreen interface. the tempered glass screen is a big improvement. havent tested waterproofness yet but this looks more splashproof than submersible.

2 and 1/2 stars ✨i bought a case for my Fiance,its a good case and everything. Must be just this one case i got for him that was made or whatever,but the rubber for the whole case was way to thick. It made it hard to work the buttons (i.e.the volume buttons,the power) It would've been a great case,it is thick and it definitely would've made greatcase,he is rough with his phones and the case wouldve been perfect.i just barely heard back from Ameverstore(AFTER3MONTHS). i just got told that they do not handle or return products because they do the orders through Amazon. will not be back for anyother purchases from this seller.

Cons:- Very heavy, difficult to carry in pocket due to weight. Impossible to carry in gym shorts because the weight pulls my shorts down constantly- No belt clip- Limits reception, especially WIFI. There are places in my house now where WIFI will not even connect while in this case.- A little difficult to attach charger. You have to get the connector in there just right for it to charge. I little more difficult to do this in the dark.Pros:- Practically bullet proof. I'm able to work with dirt, mud and water during landscaping without any issues.- Easy to clean. I'm able to use cleaning wipes without it getting under the glass- I've dropped it multiple times and phone is completely protected. Dropped on concrete once and it only scratched the paint- Easy to install. It came with an allen wrench and screws. Took about 2 minutes to install.If it came with a belt clip and was a little less heavy, I would love it. Tough, durable, great for outdoors.

This case is great it's very durable and very easy to use. It is very similar to the lunatik taktik case and could definitely protect your phone from a pretty lengthy drop. I wouldn't say there is any downside to getting this case. The charging port is easily accessible and the headphone cover will protect from any dust from entering your phone. This case is NOT waterproof but will protect from an occasional splash of water just don't get it on the place where you put your ear to talk to people. The case does not mess with the quality of your camera and does not effect the signal on your phone. If you are looking for a new iPhone 4s case look no longer for this is the answer to all your problems. This case is for anyone that likes to do any outdoors activities or for parents looking to protect their phone or child's phone from getting cracked. I would give it more stars if I could but you get the point it's a great case for a low price definitely the best bang for your buck.

Bought this for my 17 year old son that destroys everything he touches and this case has definitely been put to the test and it has been great. I got him this for Christmas and now here it is March and he came home this weekend and broke the screen, but the plus side is it was only the glass on the case and not on the phone so I will gladly pay the $12 for another one, then to pay for a new phone screen.

Sturdy. Water resistant. And scratch proof. The screen didn't shatter but the headphone jack cover is plastic, my phone fell down a whole flight of stairs and it's fine, the case is a little banged up but alright. And the sickens switch is a little to easy to flip so if you are going to school or in a meeting be careful.
