Yes - it's a great pen. A little heavy but really a good performer especially considering the price. It feels like a quality pen. Regarding ink flow, I have had no problems with it at all. Even after a couple of days rest, it still writes immediately and smoothly. I have £150+ pens that don't do that!

Will this work well with Indian ink?

I would not recommend Indian ink in any fountain pen. It tends to dry and block the pen. Use any black fountain pen ink.

Can I use Indian ink in this pen?

Hi, carbon bottled ink like Indian ink will clog fountain pen easily. I recommend you to use non carbon bottled ink like Parker or waterman.

Would this take Parker Long Quink cartidges if you remove the converter?

Nope. You need to buy the China standard cartridges *I think* they have an aperture of 3.4mm rather than the standard European aperture, which is smaller. This is the bit of cartridge that you push into the pen, which is punctured to allow the ink to flow. If you attempt this with a parker refill (European standard),it just won't fit - it's like trying to put a car tyre on a bicycle! You can buy the China standard cartridges online, they are about the same as normal ones price wise, or you could buy the diamine ink that comes in a plastic bottle small enough to go into a pencil case, and so far has stood up to the abuse it gets daily in my bag Hope this helps!
