GR-150 Griddler Delux - Brushed Stainless (Renewed)

I bought a "certified refurbished" Griddler to save a little money ($79.95) and have had it for over 3 months now. (The refurbished Griddler comes with a 90-day warranty.) So good, so far. It works great for panini sandwiches and you can leave it open for frying eggs, bacon, etc. Using the "sear" function is a great way to cook 1-inch steaks to medium rare in about 5 minutes flat! Searing also keeps the moisture in meats so they don't dry out like on a grill. Better have everything else ready before you put the steaks on the Griddler....It's fast! The removable and reversible (grill side & flat side) plates make clean-up a snap! The Griddler seems to be well-made and of good quality. I hope it lasts a long time....

I have this machine on and at around 300 degrees for about 10 hours a day in my small work kitchen.

The Griddler that I received looked new, the only indication that I could see that it was refurbished was that the heating elements under the plates looked like they had been hot in the past.This is the first griddle that I have had so I can't compare it against others, but I have used it three times and have been happy with the results so far. It worked great for cooking bacon (contained ALL of the splatter) and hash browns, cooking with the top closed and browning top and bottom at once. The first thing I cooked was cheese quesadillas, and they were excellent.

Worked great at first , but after two months heating element on bottom went out

Takes longer than I expected to heat up. When opened up all the way, the top panel will not lay flat.

I highly recommend this griddler . I had a similar unit that did not have the features this one does namely , the individually adjustable heat plates ,removable and reversible non stick plates and the ability to adjust the height of the top plate so your sandwiches don't turn into thin pizzas.The unit is very easy to clean and I use it at least once a day.

I grill steaks on it every week. Tried paninis and loved them. Well worth the money. Easy to clean. I love this griddle.
