This is a really nice cup of coffee. No bitter after taste, goes down nicely black or with milk. All around a decent hot and wet beverage, however, after reading the packet with the warnings about it being uber strong and such I did my usual thing of saying to myself ‘yeah ok I’ve heard that before’ one cup later I felt fine, two cups later I still felt fine. My third cup was when I’d realised I’d gone too far, as well as a regular gym routine I also managed to somehow in a blur of ninja like focus complete seven days worth of work in an hour climb the height of Ben Nevis in less time and then fly back down the same height chatting to a purple unicorn about how rainbows are made. I think I fell asleep at about ten that evening but who knows as I was up like a wild cheetah chasing down a baby gazelle at six in the morning with a spankingly clean house ready to go for a 40 mile run and bench press a baby giraffe.Good god damn coffee!

It's OK but not strong at all, nice mild flavour but nothing like what I was expecting or wanted. Strongest coffee in the UK ? I've had stronger out a supermarket jar. Not worth the money at all sorry but if it had been sold as a mild roast with no claims of high caffeine etc and half the price I would have given it 5 stars. Overall very disappointed.

I'm highly impressed with the eco aspects of the brand and the first bag I bought was so strong and flavourful that I bought a second. Unfortunately the batch is so wishy washy that I'm having to use a second pod this time. I hope the company address their quality control so that customers receive a consistent product The world needs awesome coffee after all and Sons of Amazon have proven they can produce it!

I bought this coffee for overnighters during work when I -need- to be able to stay awake. Regular instant coffee wasn't working, and Sons of Amazon claimed to be able to.The good news is that it does the job. I can go from groggy and tired to feeling fully awake with one cup, which was always the goal. The bad news is that it comes with considerable tradeoffs. It makes me pee frequently after drinking it, and obviously makes me go to the bathroom for, ahem, more extended sessions much more frequently too. I'm not someone with IBS, but two scoops of this will make it seem so. It also seems to make me pretty anxious in a bad way which is more concerning.I don't drink coffee daily, and there's no chance I would with this. I've had to keep two different types of coffee - only using this one as my heavy artillery, so to speak. I see it as more of a tool than something I can enjoy. If you need strong coffee, you've found it. Proceed with caution!

This is strong coffee but on the side of the packet it says put 4 tablespoons in a cup ???? Surely if you put 4 tablespoons of any coffee in a cup it'll be strong. Like I said it is strong and nice.

I’ve never been very happy with the quality or choice of coffee pods from Nespresso and recently I’ve become more concerned about the environment so I’ve been looking for an alternative. These pods are ideal! The coffee is great and when they’re done they just go straight in with my compostable waste. I was a bit worried whether they would work as well as the Nespresso capsules but there was no problems with them. I’ll be taking a few next time I stay at a hotel as they all seem to have Nespresso machines with the worst choice of coffee.

It's a pretty average taste and seems a bit stale as well, which is to be expected with coffee bought online. After drinking 3 cups in a span of 4 hours, and there isn't a caffeine rush, it's just good at keeping you awake. I made mines in a cafetiere and it's pretty average. You are paying the premium for caffeine, but if you work nights like me or are a student that spent the entire night writing a paper and the morning in a boring lecture it's a great buy, though pricy.

This is the stuff I've been looking for!I always loved a strong coffee and have felt like the American branded stuff like "death wish coffee co." etc was very over priced, and nowhere near as strong as promised on the bag.After a long time of searching I decided to try the Sons of amazon stuff and honestly I couldn't look back after this. The stuff has a very strong taste, Very rich and palatable, but the incredible bit is the caffeine. With other coffee companies I can drink the stuff for hours with no real feel of alertness. with Sons of Amazon I've had one cup today and I feel like I'm ready to take on anything.Being a Glasgow lad as well it's amazing to be able to support a company so close to home as well which they 100% deserve. If you want strong, fairtrade coffee at a reasonable price then this stuff is for you!
