This was obviously a well built sturdy mount from the moment I took it out of the box. SOLID. And it mounted on the bike great. A little pricey, BUT at the end of the day, WORTH IT. I know I’ll never need to buy another one (except to have more of them). Able to use it one handed (as advertised), it holds the phone really securely (as advertised). It came with the rubber restrained but afters few days I took it off, it’s just not needed. I’m not even the slightest bit worried the phone Is falling out of this thing. And looks?!! The chrome finish on the mount is top notch and it fits right in like it was made with the bike. I’ve no problem recommending this mount. I didn’t tell you about my customer service experience. I originally ordered this in black, then realized there was a chrome version. Wanted to cancel the order and switch to the chrome one. Even though I was too late(the black one had shipped). They refunded my money on the black one (before I even received it) and I ordered the chrome one I appreciate their answering the phone with a real person, talking to me, and most of all trusting me. COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED ALL THE WAY AROUND!!!

Had purchased a mount previously for my phone and was VERY pleased. However, I was also looking for something to mount a radar detector. Unfortunately the phone mount was unable to get the detector high enough to "see" over my aftermarket faring (2005 Harley Road King with a Wide Open Cycle faring).I contacted Tackform and they were VERY helpful and interested in my problem.Nick (owner) spoke to me personally and we discussed my needs. He mentioned that they had a new product that he thought would work and sent it out for me to try.The pictures tell the story!It was PERFECT! Small enough to not look silly and flexible enough to adjust to fit my needs. And like my earlier phone mount, it was made of the same high quality aluminum and securely attached my Cobra Rad350 detector (should fit any and all types and makes of detectors).Very pleased with the product and overwhelmed by the customer service!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Just got the Tackform mount for my 2018 Yamaha Star Venture and Samsung S-9 (in a thin rubber Speck case). Price: $69 on Amazon. US-based company (Chicago), made in Taiwan. Arrived a day earlier than promised. All parts were there and included clear directions with pictures (even though it's intuitively obvious how to use it). Comes with bushings for the 3 most common diameter bars.Took 10 minutes to put on - two minutes to assemble and 8 minutes of me trying to decide where I really wanted to put it. Opted for right handlebar since a) I'm right handed, b) it's close to the charging ports in the right hand storage box.This thing is SOLID! Very heavy duty feeling, and the spring that holds the clamp closed on my phone is impressive. No worry whatsoever about this phone popping out. However, Tackform includes a rubber sling that you can put on and it secures all 4 corners of the phone. I will use it because a guy named Murphy passed a law that says I ought to use it. 😄As you can see in the pics, there are 2 ball joints with large thumbscrews that essentially allow you to put this phone in any position you want without having to adjust the clamp on the handlebars. I'm starting out with mine in a position that brings it pretty close to me and doesn't block any of the gauges. My near vision sucks, so this will be very nice vs. where I had my phone mounted previously.

This mount may look similar to the cheap ones but it isn't. This thing is all metal, and the clamps have tabs on the ends to help hold your phone. Also they have foam rubber on the grips to help hold your phone, and keep it from slipping. The. The spring is super heavy duty, definitely not weak. And finally the multidirectional mount works perfect for my Harley with apehangers.I also love the fact its black and fits the look of my bike.

The price made pause, but once in hand I was pleased with the quality. Packaging, tools, instructions, fit & finish, all live up to the claims. Phone is held securely. Chrome fits nicely with the shiny front end of my bike. Glad I spent the extra.

Using the smallest bushing, I installed this fine piece of craftsmanship on my CTX 1300 without a problem. This is a great, well-made product. I'm almost shocked at the number of people who have purchased cheap plastic phone mounts - but not really. Most people don't realize that you get what you pay for. If you want quality, then pay for quality. It's really hard to underestimate the intelligence of the American consumer. With that said, I read a review of Tackform's other, shorter mount which is made just like this one. The person said their phone fell out of the mount while riding and they blamed the mount. If you follow the Tackform instructions, I doubt you will have any problems - e.g., if you mount your phone in landscape position, make sure the spring-loaded side of the mount is on top. If you're riding around with a cheap burner phone like the ones used on 'The Wire', then get you a cheap $15 phone mount. But if you're riding around with a phone that cost more than your grandfather's first used car, then you might oughta not wanna lose it. How much would you pay for some peace of mind?

This is the real deal. None of that flimsy plastic stuff. Has many mounting and view positions.
