Stronger than the short version
Much stronger than the shorter version. I purchased both the extended and standard version for my son who works on his Subarus. I am not certain why, but the long-reach version is a lot stronger. Great for the reach, but short enough to still work on the brakes of my truck. I've been using Milwaukee battery tools since the 80's. Their battery life and performance are better than any other I've owned.

It’s a Tool.
At the moment I’m the only one who has this tool at work, It works for what I use it for (Put in/Removal of Bolts (Combine Harvester: Screens,Battery Terminals,Hose Clamps,Shield)

It seems to be the go-to ratchet
I cashed in a few credit card points and bought this for my husband (with my son’s recommendation for this size drive and the extended reach…(cause hey why not..it’s not HIS money…). My husband was appreciative but as usual was not very expressive. Over the next few days and weeks I covertly peeked in on his garage projects (which is not odd, I hang out with him there often) and noticed that this was getting used quite a bit.One project in particular that I have seen him do before and have some choice words over, when I asked how it went he did say, ‘ great! I had the perfect tool’ !! So, WINNER!!I myself like the weight, feel and look of the tool and the battery doesn’t get used up quickly and doesn’t take forever to recharge. Maybe I should have saved giving him this tool for the next time I irritate him…
