Great for travel!
I use a shower chair regularly at home. I decided I needed a folding one for travel, and ordered this one to take on a family vacation. It worked great, and using the box (which had a handle) made it easy to pack and carry.

Perfect for my need.
I am having a health issue that makes it difficult for me to stand while showering. I didn’t need back support Or arm rests . This one is great. Light, slide the legs in needing no tools and folds to take up very little space. Well engineered and good quality. Exactly what I needed.

Drive Medical folding bath bench
Perfect for my use of relaxing in small shower. Originally, I bought a non-folding Medline Guardian bath bench, but legs were spread apart too far (19") so it was cumbersome to get in and out of shower and pushed the bench too far from shower wall. On this bench, the back legs are even with the back of the bench so that the bench can be close to the shower wall. Front legs stick out further, but not enough to be in the way. Bench folds, so easy to get in and out of shower and easy to store. Have not tried using in bath. Some reviews have mentioned chair folding up when sitting down on it. I think this is due to improper use. Legs are securely held in front metal catch when care is taken to place legs in catch. If you just flop the chair open and immediately sit down without checking catch, it could possibly collapse. This may make this chair not a good choice for elderly who would need help with preparing chair.

Not safe and poorly made
I regret buying this stool without reading all of the reviews first. I trusted that it was a good product by the ratings and amenities, but this is very unsafe.I weigh under 200lbs, which is far below the weight limit, and it collapsed and broke underneath me during my 2nd use. 2ND!!It didn’t break from the bar that you push into the stool when unfolding, but the part that is literally drilled into the seats. The screws pulled out. I bought this stool because I have trouble standing in the shower after long days, and preventing that fatigue gave me motivation to shower (I am chronically ill).I’m getting a surgery on my uterus next month and will require this while recovering, thank god it broke on me while I am still able bodied!! It could’ve seriously hurt me. Luckily my shower is small so I didn’t hit my head on anything, or fall very far. But still, I am so disappointed. Not hopeful that I can get a refund, so I’ll have to look elsewhere for a safe stool. It was really comfortable too, what a shame.
