Exact fit for a 2010 VW Beetle
This light is an exact fit for the 2010 VW Beetle with the clip-type mount. Installation is a bear but that is because of the car design rather than because of the light. Make sure that you need the light because the seller will not take the light back for full refund if it is removed from the box. You all will be required to pay return postage on this item.However, if you do need the light this is the best place to purchase it. Definitely beats VW's $400 PRICE

Great for the price
Great headlight. Fits perfect but the clip for the cover broke for the light bulb but that could have been my fault. Shines good looks like stock. Im pleased with it and the price

Fits my 2010 beetle well
The driver side headlight assembly fit my 2010 beetle well. I got it installed at an auto body shop. The 2010 beetle and prior few years’ beetle have a headlight assembly problem in which the connector does not get properly connected to the assembly. You can google the problem for more details. A simple solution is using a zip tie or two to secure the connector properly. You can find a YouTube video about that. The auto body shop at first said the installation would be tricky but when I showed them the video they finished the installation within 30 minutes.The VW dealership quoted over $500 for only this assembly (excluding the labor cost). By purchasing this, I saved a lot.

identical to the one the bug had originally, light bulbs included
It is very difficult to learn to change this light. Once you know how it takes very little time. It takes a 3/16 socket or metric equivalent with a long extension to turn the locking mechanism located inside the hood near the center of this light fixture. It has two pictures of padlocks, one open one shut to show you what direction to turn the mechanism. Then you have to push out on the light from the back WHILE pushing down a lever which is a few inches towards the rear of the car from the unlocking/locking mechanism. I've done it a few times and it takes me under a minute to do it. It took me hours to figure it out the first time. The driver's side is more difficult because more stuff is in the way.

BROKEN PART per Auto Service
I received the headlamp and took it to a reputable Auto Shop to install it and they just called me to tell me that the part on the back was broken upon taking it out of the box! My return window is closed and now I cannot even return this!
