The magnets are not strong enough. I measured the thickness of the double glazing which at 9mm is well in spec for this model. Note the thicknesser measure scale is inaccurate it starts at -1mm, not that really matters. The outer unit kept falling off and didn't entirely follow the inner unit. It missed the edges unless you went vertically and horizontly. You have to keep the window really wet for the outer unit to move. I pulled off the velcro and it broken the base and caused the gripper to fall out. It's made of very poor quality plastic and just doesn't effectively work.

i order it last night and its already come this morning!!not having a cleaner in the past 4 months drive me crazy! and i cant find the time to clean the windows.its a great solution for me , easy and fast.my windows are now clean and im happy ;-)

I’d always wanted to try one of these. I have to admit, it took me a little while to get the hang of it, but once I did I found it to be ok. More of a wipe than a washer of that makes sense. Does a decent job and good value for money. Perhaps with more practice I will get better use out of it!

Although the idea and execution is a good one I struggled to get this to work well, mainly I believe because Tyroler Bright sell 2 versions designated for double-glazed windows, a black-handled version for 2-18mm and a blue-handled version for 2-28mm windows; unfortunately I had the black-handled version and I think my double-glazed windows are too thick, the units fell apart far too easily. I did get it to work reasonably well on the single thickness glass in the balustrades around my decking, it did need some window cleaner on the glass to provide some lubrication and allow the units to slide properly, it also needed the screws adjusting correctly and some practice in moving the units. Overall a good idea but this, the black-handled version, isn’t really suitable for double-glazed units.

The reality is somewhat different in that it's a pain to attach to either side of the window and you need to be patient very patient, I dont have the patience or skill and it was largely a frustrating experience.

I was very keen to try this out. It seemed like a good idea. I had hoped that this would make window cleaning easier and less laborious. Unfortunately, this is not the case.The device consists of two elements intended to be placed on each side of a window, holding a microfibre cloth for cleaning the glass and a squeegee for removing the liquid residue. The two parts of the device are connected magnetically, so that movement of the part that is held is mirrored by a similar movement in the part on the other side of the window.The problem is that it doesn't actually clean glass very well. It does OK for parts of the window, but it falls down at the edges and corners of the pane; these are always the most difficult parts to clean anyway, but this device seems to have no solution. It leaves smears and uncleaned areas, and, for me, is just not worth using at all.I can see that it might have some utility for windows where it's difficult to access the outer pane, but it is still necessary to have some access in order to apply the external portion of the device, and its inability to clean the entirety of the pane is always going to be a problem.It's also unbelievably expensive for what it is, and I would advise any potential buyers to look elsewhere. It's one of those products for which Amazon's lack of a "zero-star" option for reviewers is acutely felt.

Easy to use and does the job well. This item will be perfect for anyone who has no access to outside window.Makes cleaning of the window a lot easier. String could be a bit more proper but can also be replaced if it will get damaged. Magnets are proper you need be very careful to not catch your fingers because it will hurt you badly.Overall good price, think this product will also last long. Definitely product worth to try.
