Furinno PASIR 3-Tier Storage Shelves Bookcase, Book Shelf, Sonoma Oak

Unless it arrived damaged I truly cannot understand many of the negative reviews. This Furinno Pasir 3-Tier Open Shelf, Steam Beech arrived in a solid box, undamaged. It was very easy to assemble. Once assembled it appears very sturdy. Excellent value.If you follow the simple instructions carefully - screw tightly(!) and tack the back in correctly and firmly(!) around the edge and into the side and top panels (not the shelves as 'Vicki' did) - it leaves a very sturdy case, for under £24. With just 3 Parts (Part 1/3 = the 16 screws and Part 2/3 = the 22 tacks) what took me the longest to figure out was that Part 3/3 - the black clip thing - is not to attach to the bookcase, but instead a very helpful tack holder to help you tack the tacks into the backboard straight, and at the precise distance from the edge. Wonderful little tool!I feel pretty certain that if I stick to the recommended max. weight, this will remain sturdy for years to come. Once built this 3-tier measures exactly 24.0 cm Deep x 59.9 cm Wide x 80.1 cm High (so very close to but not quite as described at 24.6D x 57.7W x 80H).

Great little bookshelf, just what I needed and my son put together in about 30 minutes. He used the handy little tool for the tacks and it went together no problemIt’s sits perfectly on top of my little cupboard

As others have stated the boards are thinner than other makes so care must be taken when screwing together also the shelves are only black on 1 side, not like the 3d image, once built look okay for the price

Overall, these bookcases are acceptable for the price, but there are a few details that prospective buyers should be aware of.Firstly, the product description doesn’t mention that the shelves are not fully finished—only the tops are covered in melamine, which results in an inconsistent look. I bought two units, and they see, to be a slightly different shades of white; one shelf even has a slight yellow tint.The supplied screws were another issue. I felt they were too short and weak, and didn’t sit flush with the surface. I ended up removing them, countersinking the holes, and replacing them with 45mm wood screws. Unfortunately, no caps were provided, so the screwheads are still visible.I probably could have returned them, but I’m on a tight schedule to complete my project and have already overspent on other furniture. Now that the shelves are loaded with books and various items, they look a bit better and feel more stable. That said, I still wish I’d been able to invest in something a bit higher quality.

This was really easy to put together, took me around 30/40 minutes on my own and I’m not much of a DIYer. Really looks great and is sturdy. I use it for my books and with my PS5 on top.

Good product

This was so much better than expected. You get what you pay for right? This feels like I got a little more for my money. Easy to put together and perfect for the small space we had. Holds a large number of paperbacks. Aiming to buy a second for another nook!
