K&CompanySmash Folio, International

I bought the EK Success K & Company International Smash Folio for my recent trip to Europe with my husband so I'd have a really sturdy, substantial, and special place to record and store some of the special mementos of our trip. I like that each and every page has a different design theme and they all relate to international travel. I'm still stuffing, smashing, and sticking our treasures inside and I'm loving every minute of it. My husband is enjoying flipping through what I've put in so far & I haven't even printed our photos so I can put those inside. It's going to be amazing. The pen that came with the EK Success K & Company International Smash Folio works well so far. I did in fact order an extra one and unfortunately it didn't work out at all. Hopefully, this Black "Smash" Pen will keep what's meant to be stuck, well... stuck.

I just started doing Smash Journals and I really like them! What a great concept. With regular scrapbooks I make myself crazy trying to get every detail just so, but with these I am much more relaxed and I can put things in that I like that are just not nice enough for a scrapbook page. These are FUN and are a great idea. I bought every color of Smash Journals that I could so that I will have a set that are all the same size and uniformity. This yellow one is "International" so it has some things like the Eiffel Tower as a background for one page, a British phone booth, a map, Italian villas, the doors of a train, etc. I am not using it just for travel. In fact, I am not using any of the Smash Journals for whatever specific thing, I am just having fun putting in whatever I want to. If you seriously don't like a page you can paste in a piece of scrapbook paper you do like or use one of the "pockets" offered for sale separately (they cover half the page). Just saw at the store that there are now Smash Journals that are as large as regular scrapbooks, but I really like these smaller ones because you can toss them in your bag and take them with you easily. I LOVE Smash Journals.

I own three Smash folios now, and they are great. However, this one only gets 4 stars because the glue stick was completely dried up when it arrived. The pen worked well and the paper is colorful and sturdy.

I have one of these scraps books for every year since 2012, and they are amazing and easy to use. This one may be my favorite. The color is really nice and a lot of the inner pages are travel related which is PERFECT because I love traveling.What I will say is that the glue that comes with these things is not great. I usually just use tape instead, so it's not a problem at all, just FYI.

If you're reading reviews to determine if the particular Smash Folio you've clicked on is worth the purchase, realize that Amazon groups all the reviews together instead of distinguishing them for separately designed Smash Folios. Page descriptions and dimensions vary on all the reviews. Annoying. They need to offer a "Look Inside" so you know what you are buying since they are all SO different.

This is a fun way to document life stages and trips. I will say once you get half way through the spine starts not being able to hold all the pictures and pages that i glued in. This is something the company should update. I would buy again but i need to find a way to break the spine or buy a larger page book so i can fit more in one journal.

I brought this one to Beijing with me - I didn't even know what it looked like on the inside, but I knew Smashbook never disappoints. I was right!It now holds many tickets stubs, receipts, and scraps of paper from my trip - admissions to museums, movies, tickets for the Forbidden City, restaurant receipts...and all I had to do was glue them in. I know I'll flip through this one day and remember all the fun I had.The pages are printed with high quality ink in great detail. No page for any asian countries except Japan, but I forgive - Americans love Japanese stuff.I'm taking away a star because of the glue pen. The glue stick does not work well with most non-porous paper products. I carry around a separate bottle of glue/ tape. But honestly I didn't expect a glue stick to do wonders. The pen is great, though.The book on its own is worth it.

This Smash book is ADORABLE. It contains 40 pages that have designs on them including lined pages, a map, a telephone booth, and many more!The glue is like any other glue so if you want to put on things other than paper I would recommend using something sturdier like crazy glue or hot glue.The pen is a thin fine tip, kind of like a sharpie and works great!I love it!
