I needed a new chasen, and this one is good. I have had zero issues with it, and I have been using it for a few months now. It bloomed very nicely and evenly and has no broken tines. The handle I can tell has warped a bit, but I soak mine in very hot water before each use, which is probably the cause. As for the holder, it is super cute and a nice vibrant blue. It hasn't cracked or gotten any scratches, so no complaints here. I have no used the scoops yet but they appear to be of good quality.

This Japanese whisk set is just what I needed to start making matcha at home. The bamboo whisk works really well to froth the tea, and the scoop and spoon make it easy to measure. I have bought multiple stand alone whisks from other companies after buying this matcha set from Teanagoo and have only been disappointed. The bamboo that Teanagoo must be sturdier or maybe a little thicker than others because it does not break and it cured perfectly after my initial soak. Other whisks have flimsy tines that break within a few uses or they warp. The only reason I needed to get other whisks was because I stupidly used my Teanagoo whisk to cold whisk my matcha and I added milk and syrup which is a big no-no. However, I went back to my Teanagoo whisk that I thought I ruined after using other cheap, junk whisks. You can tell the difference in quality when a supposed "ruined" whisk out performs multiple brand new whisks. The matcha set is beautiful and has a gorgeous, glossy celadon glaze and is a steal when a single whisk costs as much as their entire matcha set.

Oh my goodness, for the price it’s amazing. I did the “random color” option and got the black ceramic whisk holder. Efficiently delivered and very well packaged to ensure no damage upon delivery. Everything is gorgeously crafted and worked beautifully for my matcha!
