LEXIVON Allan Key Sets Hex and Star Allen Key Set

I'm electrician by trade and I was attracted by the look of it I won't lie. I found it well presented / packed. In my job details and presentation of the finishing makes the difference. Also I found the price to be very competitive. So I went for it and use it the very next day. Being an Amazon member it arrived very fast no surprises in there. Having to terminate so many cables different sizes in the switch room, I used those Allen keys solid for 2 days and still using it as I'm writing this review. I have a Wera set anyway which I'm using but left them to a different job and wasn't really going to travel that far. So gave this one a try for the time being. Let me tell you that I have no problems at all to complete any task. They feel solid and well made. The only problem I would say is that being black in the dark places that won't help at all. You can easily misplace it, that's a 4 star unfortunately Still I gave 5 stars for the performance because after all it about the performance. But going back to what you get for what you paying that's a deal. If you are going to work in places with low light conditions go for different brand .

Perhaps you're like me and have somehow accumulated a box full of almost every Allen key you will ever need - bar the one you actually need and/or can't find it in the box, but you know you had one. And on occasion you need metric (e.g. UK and Europe), Imperial (typical of USA) and Torx (Europe). Perhaps the ones you have aren't quite as long as you'd like, or just feel a bit cheap. And sometimes you wished yours had a convenient 'ball' end to make life easier? So, maybe like me, you searched for 'ball end Allen key set'. And you'll find plenty of similar sets without the ball end and a few with... and if you look further still and need an imperial size 1/20 (0.05)" you'll not find many at all. So, nice to find this particular set with the sizes I actually needed. They have the ball end, and are nice and long, and are safely stored in a foldable plastic holder. Sure, I could have saved a couple of pounds buying the near identical looking Chinese made sets, and I'm sure they'll have been just as good (maybe). But this Lexivon is made in the USA and comes with a Lifetime warranty. I can't comment on their construction from alleged higher quality alloy-steel as I've not managed to break one yet, but if I do I will be using their warranty! Now or in 10-15 years time. So why wouldn't you buy these?

Perfect for my job, got every size I need and even cover the odd surprise, don't know how I've managed without them. For the price they are exceptional quality with an extended warranty.

This is a very decent set of allen keys. The ball ends is a very handy addition and has already come in useful in tightening screws in awkward locations Unless you are doing something really specialist I can't see you not having a key to fit in this set. They're nicely finished and labelled and look like they'd last a lifetime.
